I have never written a review for anything, but this place's poor customer service is beyond what I have ever seen before in my life! They really don't deserve to be in business - if there is such a thing as karma, people will read this and take their business elsewhere!\r
I needed to get my car from one repair shop to another and it wasn't drivable, so I was in a bind. Since I was calling from home, I also needed a place that would take a credit card over the phone. The woman who answered the phone at Larry's was so utterly rude to me on the phone that I spent the next half hour calling a bunch of other places in the phonebook trying to find literally anyone else to do it. VERY reluctantly and only because I was out of time, I called Larry's back. She quoted me two hours to pick up my car. I asked her to try to get it a half hour earlier if at all possible, to give the repair shop they were bringing it to enough time to fix it before the end of the day, in time for the weekend. She said they'd try but couldn't make any guarantees, and in a rude manner asked if I wanted them to pick it up or not. Having no choice, I agreed. \r
3 hours later I called the repair shop to make sure my car was there and underway, and it was still not there! (I had set up the tow at 10 AM and it was now 1 PM!) I called Larry's and they said that they hadn't guaranteed when they could pick it up. I complained that they had said they hadn't guaranteed an hour and a half, and there was a big difference between 1.5 hours and 3 hours! She started yelling at me and asking if I wanted them to tell the tow truck not to pick it up at all! Shocked, I asked to speak with the manager. She left, and then came back and said ""I'm the manager."" Apparently the manager told her to ""deal with it"".\r
My repair shop (John Gardiner) uses these folks and that's how I got referred to them, but if you have happened to read this, please do yourself a favor and use anyone else. These are just not nice people.
Pros: Take credit cards
Cons: Incredibly rude on the phone (yelling at you!) and unreliable time of pickup (over 1 hr late!)
