Probably not the least expensive in town, but very professional and courteous with great service and a ride home in a 50's cab!

I feet Larrys Auto Works customer service is the worsed i have ever experienced. He claims his mechanics are the best and certified to diagnose any car fromm Saab to Cadillac, yet they can't solve a problem as simple as a fuel filter. They had a list of things wrong so long that was wrong with my car it was going to cost anywhere fropm $800 to $1100.I took my vehicle to another mechanic who diagnosed it as a bad fuel filter and changed it, the car run just fine now.STAY AWAY FROM LARRYS... more

Expensive and rude 8/15/2007

I have a 99 mercedes benz SLK-230. I had been taking it for service to the Mercedes dealers in the area till the extended warranty expired this year. So, I decided to search around to find something cheaper than a dealer but reputable and found Larry's Auto Works. They seemed to have a very high rating online, and this is my effort to rate them as they should be. They are 50% to 100% more expensive than even the Mercedes Benz dealers (San Francisco). Please avoid them. I wanted a service B done. They called me to tell that I should replace 2 tires, replace battery, change all the belts and do a brake fluid flush. I agreed to the last two while noting the high charge for them. Then I researched around and found that even the Merc dealors charged much less for exactly the same service. I had no option but to pay when getting my car back, but noted my complaint. Brake fluid flush (parts+labor) Larrys - 42.84+158.20 = $201.04 Multiple Merc Dealers in the same area - $99 Renew drive belts (parts+labor) Larrys - 97+195.60 = $292.60 Multiple Merc Dealers in the same area - $225.60 more

expensive charges 7/24/2007

The price is expensive while the work is decent. I would bet there are shops out there delivering the same or better service at more competitive (lower) prices. more
