People that need such a place because of there mental imparment or other needs have founld a place to live in if this is what they chose to do. Suncrest is clean and Medically prepaired. It is not like other places through out the United States. more

Good Adult Care -- Clean Atmosphere, Friendly Attendants 10/6/2005

The Lapeer County Medical Care Facility, formerly known as Suncrest, has come along way in the past 10 years. The care is great, the building is clean and inviting, and the residents seem very happy for the most part. With three relatives there over the past 15 years, I can say with confidence that is a great place to care for the elderly in your family. The staff is very helpful and the activities department is outstanding. PROS: Clean, professional & knowledgeable CONS: Usually full -- must get on a waiting list, but the list moves quickly. more
