Lane George Park is a wonderful place for the family and kids. They have a pool that is open in the summer; they have horseshoes, and also have a play place (slide, swings, and much more). Not only this but the park is always clean. At this park, there is a lot of fun more

An awesome place to experience as a kid!!! 7/28/2005

George Lane park is an awesome place to go to. I went to this park when I was a kid and they always have something going on there that keeps kids out of trouble. All year around they rotate from sport to sport. The sports include Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Flag Football. They also have a daycare for younger children and I've heard that Joe Walker Middle School had donated a brand new Gym to the park that they can use while school isn't in session. It is also a great hangout spot because there is a lot of space. It also has Basketball courts and a playground. more
