Landmark's Crossroads Cinema

While I love the alternative movie selection, I had a recent experience that is unacceptable. I can not return there out of my personal protest. A while ago, I and a friend went to see a movie. I paid with a $50 bill as I had no other bills. I took my change and put it in my pocket without looking at it. Later that night, after getting home, I saw that I was short $30. Apparently, the cashier mistook my $50 for a $20. I called the theatre the next day and was asked to come in to speak to the manager. The manager refused to return the money saying that the till was balanced. She offered a free ticket instead of making good. I refused and told her that I would not return to that theatre again. This theater has the worst projection I have ever experienced. These guys have no idea how to focus a projector. The sound is so qiuet that the dialogue from the film is barely audible. I guess this is no surprise since all the Landmark theaters in the Denver/Boulder area are lousy. more
