I was referred to Lake Washington Physical Therapy and Carey Devault by my physical therapist to complement my program to reduce my lower back pain. Carey's deep tissue massages are phenomenal and have reduced my pain every time after a visit. Additionally, she recommended an alternate sleeping position based on feedback that I had provided her about having pain in the morning. Put the new sleeping position and the massages together and my back pain has subsided and is now in check. If you want to experience a truly relaxing massage, check out their hot stone massage! more

Lake Washington Massage Therapy-A Must Go! 4/22/2012

Lake Washington Massage Therapy has been my choice for massage therapy since I started there in 2004. After being in a car accident, I started with massage therapy to alleviate and prevent future problems resulting from the accident. I work with children and to keep up with them I go to massage therapy to work out the muscle aches that occur trying to keep up with kids' energy level. Carey Devault has been a fantastic massage therapist. I can recommend her and everyone at Lake Washington Massage Therapy. From the time you enter the office, you are welcomed with a friendly smile and you know they care about their patients. Lake Washington Massage Therapy is easy to reach in Redmond, WA and well worth the trip! more

Carey is the best! 4/17/2012

I started coming to Carey for massage following a running injury. Carey's expert massages have helped immensely. She's very knowledgeable about sports injuries. She checks in with me and targets the areas that need the most help. She is helping me get to my goal of running again. I've been to numerous massage therapists on the East side, but I think Carey is the BEST!! more

Carey is Great 3/18/2012

Carey made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. I filled out all my paperwork online so there would be no time wasted. Since I am post knee surgery, Carey and I talked for a few minutes on what my main problems were and then got right to work. I had a 90 minute massage that went by way too fast. I went home feeing great and woke up the next morning with less pain than I have had in the last six months. I will defiantly go back soon. more

Effective Relief 3/12/2012

I started seeing Jackie after back pain from a bicycle accident became chronic. Through careful assessment and excellent massage, Jackie gave me back a pain-free life through her skilled hands. In addition, I have received tips on how to sustain my new well-being. By now she also took care of several sports injuries (now that I can move about again ;) for me as well. Lake Washington Message is a must if your in pain and need relief or just to relax. There staff is very professional, experienced and always friendly. I love Carey, she is exceptional at what she does, I have had many messages throughout my life, and she is by far the best. My only regret is now that she fixed my back, I can see them as much as I use too. more

Wonderful Place!! 2/17/2012

Lake Washington Massage is one of the best place to go to get a massage. All there staff is amazing and Carey did a wonderful job working on my lower back. I am pretty picky when it comes to getting a massage and have found that their staff are amazing and some of the best on the east side. more

Magnificent Maureen 1/16/2012

Maureen is a great massage therapist! I have fibromyalgia and it's difficult to find someone who knows how to do a massage without aggravating my condition. Maureen seems to know exactly how much pressure to use when I see her each week. She even finds ""hot spots"" without me even having to tell her about them. She's also fun to talk to and yet always very professional. In fact, the entire staff at LWMT meets that description. I appreciate all their efforts on my behalf! Keep up the fabulous work!! more

I have been receiving regular massages for over a decade. Maureen at LWMT is, without exception, the best therapist I have ever had. She listens to my specific needs and addresses them thoroughly at every appointment. She and the entire staff at LWMT have great senses of humor. I look forward to chatting with everyone each week. Samer is amazing! 1/13/2012

Samer is an amazing massage therapist. I am a physical therapist and I have been experiencing back pain for the past year. I have seen Samer twice and my pain is almost completely gone at rest. Samer has exceptional assessment skills and his use of manual ligament therapy to reduce soft tissue restrictions is very effective. I definitely recommend Lake Washington Massage, particularly Samer. Thanks! more

Carey is the BEST!! 1/3/2012

I started seeing Carey a little over a year ago for an issue with my hip and lower back. Lifting weights and being an equestrian, this is a chronic, ongoing problem. Carey applies the right pressure to release my spasmed muscles. I had very painful tendonitis in the shoulder recently and was in so much pain that I wanted to cancel my regular scheduled massage. Carey encouraged me to come in to see her. She explained to me the cause of inflammation and very gently massaged my shoulder, helping the blood to circulate. And I was PAIN FREE! Carey is part of my regular ""body maintenance"" protocol. Thank you, Carey! more

I have been going to LWMT for *eight years following a car accident. I have seen several different therapists over the years but have always had the best results when seeing Carey. Her hands are magic! She is warm and caring while providing excellent relief for my back and neck pain. I recommend her and Lake Washington Massage to everyone! more

Excellent massage therapy for young athletes! 12/31/2011

My daughter is a competitive irish dancer who was suffering from very tight muscles which caused a lot of pain for her while dancing. I searched for someplace that worked with teen athletes and found Karen at LWMT. She is amazing! My daughter was a bit apprenhensive about having a massage and Karen put her at ease. My daughter has been going to Karen for several months now and feels so much better. Every staff member I have met has been very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a therapeutic massage - especially young athletes! more

Best therapeutic massage ever!!!! 12/30/2011

OMG! Carey is so strong! I went to her as a referral from a co-worker, she raved. I found out what she meant. Carey is concerned, friendly, professional, she has warm hands and very strong arms. We both get a workout; please understand her pressure has been appropriate for me. I am suffering with and trying to conquer tendonitis in my right shoulder, she always asks ""is this OK?"" The environment is very comfortable, soft music and plenty of water. Go, enjoy and have a happy new year. more

One of my favorite places to visit! 12/28/2011

I have been struggling with back problems for four years. About a year ago, I started seeing Carey at LWMT. Carey's massages are the only treatments that have relieved my back pain (tried injections, PT, chiropractic). Not only is Carey a gifted massage therapist, she is a fun and caring person - I always look forward to seeing her. She seems to know exactly how to get the muscles to release when nothing else will. The office is VERY well organized and managed. The admin, Kim, is super helpful and friendly as well. Everything is clean and smells good. I highly recommend LWMT - have had massages many other places and strongly prefer LWMT! more

best people, best care, best service, best massage! 12/24/2011

I have been going to LWMT for quite a few years. Kim the receptionist is always so helpful, so friendly, and unlike other receptionist, she is always cheerful! I mostly see Rose and Brian, but have seen Erin as well, they are all excellent therapist, each one is different, Rose is excellent in myofacial release, Brian is excellent is deep tissue therapy, and Erin seems to be in between. So, i get the best of all treatment! Danny the owner really knows how to hire the best therapist, it is like a family there, you can see anyone you like, and they all help each other out. Without regular treatment from them all, I would have to have shoulder surgery and quit my job, but seeing them regularly, keeps my pain under control, and gain mobility i didn't have. What more can i rave about them? They are simply the best . I have referred so many people there, and everyone loves them! more

Deep tissue relief 12/17/2011

I've been going to Karen for the past 6 months for ongoing muscle tightness as a result of running, rowing and other activities. She is really great at finding the hot spots and working them out without it being a painful experience. Karen's massages are now part of my regular 'maintenence' program so I'm able to continue doing the activities I love to do. The experience with LWMT has been great - they are always positive, professional, and they make it easy to schedule appointments. more

Healing hands 12/14/2011

I've been going to Carey at LWMT since 2004 for serious neck issues. She has an amazing ability to find and release trigger points. Her knowledge of anatomy, injuries and the right techniques for every kind of ache/pain make her my hero! Awhile back I called to cancel an appt because of horrid sinus headache. Carey said to come in. I was so glad I did. She focused on face/head. By the time I left the headache was gone and the sinus pressure gone. Magical healing hands...just wish I could afford to go weekly! The nutrition counseling with Dani changed my life, habits, and health. I learned so much about what is good and natural in food and drink. Some of the things she taught me are polar opposite of what I learned in my ""dieting"" life. Example: if you eat a potato make sure to eat good fat to help metabolize the starch! Needless to say this was a shock to the ""fat free"" world I lived in. Dani is an amazing teacher and food mentor! The whole experience at LWMT is great! There is peaceful decor, friendly staff, good location and great management!! more
