That little old town movie theater experience. So much nicer than the big flashing in your face joints.

Worst

There movies usually suck, they show the same movies for ever, and its too expensive!!!

Just went to a movie here, and it was 2/23/2012

Just went to a movie here, and it was so cold, I had to leave before it was over. The gentleman working said-oh, ya the heat got turned off...sorry. I usually enjoy going to movies at the Lake Twin, but next time will ask if the heat is on. more

LOVE IT! 12/30/2009

I grew up going to this place. I love the small feeling and it's going to this place now... it just reminds me of being a child. Pros: Small & new inside Cons: Parking more

Great Little Movie Theater! 1/31/2009

There is something really wonderful about a small theater, like we had in the ""old days"" before the giant mega multi screen theaters. Hate long lines? You'll love the Lake Twin, then. Don't like the mega malls and parking structures? Want friendly neighborhood service from nice people? You'll love this charming theater as much as our family does. Pros: Quaint, Cute, Friendly and Mainly Adults more

Charming Theatre with Great Popcorn 12/31/2008

Since renovating in 1996 after the flood, this local theatre has improved in many ways. The movies are first run, with an admission price that's hard to bead anywhere else. Their popcorn is better than most theatre popcorns and more reasonably priced too. They will even let you bring in your Starbucks coffee from across the street. Lake Oswego lots of interesting shops and great restaurants to choose from all within a few blocks of the theatre. Pros: Great atmosphere and food, no TV ads before the movie, friendly service, outside deck on the lake with boat access, outside coffee is allowed, within walking distance of many great places to eat Cons: Smaller theatres mean only two movies to choose from, no stadium seats more

Great theater for the money 3/1/2008

This theater is great for the money. Although people have mentioned it's age and uncomfortable seats... they should know that this theater was completely overhauled in mid-90s following the flooding that damaged the theater. Pros: local small theater Cons: only two screens more

Good neighborhood theater. 6/15/2007

I love this theater. It's small, personal, and very convenient. No lines, etc. There are many good restaurants nearby. more

Fun neighborhood theatre 6/15/2007

Contrary to what another reviewer said, this is NOT a second run theatre, though with only two screens the amount of new releases are limited. As such, it is NOT overpriced but standard within the region. Pros: kid-friendly, nice atmosphere Cons: an older facility more

Fun! 5/12/2007

Just moved to LO and took the kids to this theater for the first time last night. We saw Spiderman 3--definitely not a ""second run"" movie! I admit the seats were uncomfortable but everything else was great. The place was spotless, very well kept and no sticky floors. Best of all no long lines, or crowds of rowdy teenagers. They take cash or checks--NO credit cards accepted. The ticket price was $8.00, not $7.50 as mentioned above. We will definitely go again--this little theater is a great piece of Lake Oswego history! Pros: Cute historic theater close to downtown Lake Oswego--perfect for dinner & a movie!!! Cons: No credit cards are accepted, uncomfortable seating more

Overpriced 2/11/2007

This place is overpriced. I went to a Saturday-night show here and discovered that tickets were $7.50. This place is a second-run theater with not-so-comfortable seats. I don't think they should be charging so much. Then again, it is in Lake Oswego, so I guess I should have expected as much. Concessions aren't much cheaper than you'd find in any other theater. A small popcorn was $3.25. The place was clean and tidy, though, I'll give it that. They keep it well-maintained. Pros: Clean and tidy Cons: Overpriced tickets and uncomfortable seats more
