At the Lake Superior Zoo they have many animals to look at, and many exhibits to explore. While I was there they were showcasing some spiders, and they were all arranged nicely for your viewing. One of the main attractions for the zoo is actually the polar bears, which were really fun to watch when I was there, jumping around and splashing in the water, it made for a fun time. They also have a petting and feeding area of the zoo just in case you want to witness the animals first hand. The pricing is nice, and for all the fun you have while you are there, it is well worth it! more

A nice day out with the family. 10/19/2005

We visit the Lake Superior Zoo a couple of times a year and we enjoy it each time. THey have recently added a primate exhibit to it and it's great, it's my youngest daughter's favorite part! They also have special events throughout the year, like a father's day event, a Halloween event called "Boo at the Zoo", and a "Zoo Year's Eve" Party. They are all great and the kids enjoy it. For being such a small zoo they have a lot of neat animals and you can view them quite closely. Our favorite part is the Polar Bears, they always put on a great show! It is open year round so it's a great way to spend any afternoon! more

Nice, clean zoo 8/21/2005

This was a fun zoo to visit. It is a little smaller than we are used to and it is a fun place to spend a morning or afternoon. We took 5 little kids and the paths weren't too long for them to walk on and they could get up close to some of the animals. The children remained entertained as well as the adults. We weren't there for too long, but I am glad that we stopped. It made our long car ride much more enjoyable...a fun place to stop. more

Great zoo! 8/11/2005

We visited here once on a trip to Duluth. The rates are very reasonable and the zoo is well managed. There are a wide variety of animals and the habitats that they have set up for the animals are great! I actually wasn't expecting such an awesome zoo in Duluth. During the summer they also feature a children's zoo where kids can get up close to some animals. This zoo is actually open year round! more
