Editorial review from Citysearch 2/11/2013

We have had excellent service & excellent care. Corey Friesen is very caring & professional. Corey & staff always go the extra mile. They are ARNP's. That's quite a grade higher than a nurse. I highly recommend this clinic. These guys saved my life (not an exaggeration- quite literally), they are incredibly skilled and truly care for their patients. My medical history is quite complex & they have met and exceeded my needs, and that of my family, while other clinics, and with MD's have fallen short. more

NO. They used to be a decent, small clinic. They are a business only now. Wrong diagnosis, took medication for wrond diagnosis, no refund, some impatient staff with an attitude. Not all. Art is a kind nurse practitioner. Beware though, they are ALL nurses, not doctors.\r If they are the ONLY place open, yes.\r Corey Friesen, office manager, is unprofessional.\r They are part of the Western Washington medical group. more

Not Ethical 8/24/2011

Just looking out for money not ethical.\r \r We had been going to Lake Serene Walk in Clinic for years and we have seen a decline in care. Recently my husband was seen for stitches and charged $98 for de briding the wound (on top of an exorbant amount we had already paid). We called to see what that was about because we had removed the stitches ourselves and they said it was for cleaning out the wound. We were shocked because the only thing they did for cleaning was soak it in soultion... Then we got ahold of someone in billing who said that part of it was for removing the stitches and that they were not going to refund us because ""they were within their rights"" more

Great experience each visit 1/31/2010

I've been to Serene Lake Clinic 3 times in about 10 years. Twice for a sore throat, and once for stitches. Each time everyone who works there that I came in contact with was very nice, and very helpful. I would much rather go here again if needed, than to the Everett Clinic which is just an over sized, commercialized, clinic. Pros: Price, Hours more

Wrong Diagnosis, Wrong Medicine, Wrong Fees 9/1/2009

I visited Lake Serene Clinic for what I thought was a bacterial infection. The practitioner that I saw (who looked all of 21 and GIGGLED NERVOUSLY throughout the visit) "confirmed" that I had a bacterial infection. She also insisted throughout the visit that I should have a pregnancy test even though I have an IUD and declined the test. (More on this to come.) She then proceeded to prescribe to me what turned out to be an anti-inflammatory medication NOT an antibiotic, which baffled not just me but the pharmacist. As if this all weren't bad enough I received a phone call a few days later to inform me that the practitioner had "made a mistake" and in fact there was no infection. If THAT WEREN'T BAD ENOUGH I received a bill for $1.50 for a pregnancy test about a month later. When I called about this I was told that the practitioner had written on my chart that I'd complained of nauseau (nope), backpain (nope) and missed period (definitely not!), which was why she'd insisted on giving me the test and that I'd agreed to it. AS IF THAT WEREN'T ENOUGH their billing specialist told me that $1.50 isn't that much and should just pay it anyway. When I pushed to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! Cons: Slow, innacurate, horrible bedside manner, rude staff more

Just Another Doc-in-the-box with the doc 2/9/2009

Years ago this clinic was phenomenal and I swore I'd never leave, but when the founder/owner took a sabbatical the clinic took a nosedive. While two of the providers, Josh Webb and Greg Lind (owner & part time provider) are well versed and consultative, the rest of the ARNPs on staff are painfully inadequate in one manner or another. If you absolutely MUST be seen somewhere then try to get in with one of these providers, otherwise, take your time to find a good quality family practitioner. Some may prefer to have an MD provide their care and it is important to note that this clinic is exclusively run by ARNP's. Pros: Holiday hours Cons: inadequate care more
