We were referred to them by a mechanic from another shop. After looking at my Expedition's catalytic converters, he had concerns that it may breakdown again if we didn't find the root cause of the problem. Previous recommendations from a Ford Dealership & other shops we went to, only replaces the bad catalytic converters. After teaming up w/ Hanlon Auto Service, our Expedition runs great just like before. This is the kind of exceptional experienced mechanics that I'd love to put in my address book and refer more businesses to. more

The other review on here could not be further from the truth. This is a family-run business and I have never met a more honest and capable group of individuals. I thought my muffler was broken and went to them because of the MANY recommendations I received from my friends and even the Ford dealership. It turns out that only a pipe was loose and they only charged me $40 to fix it. Midas and Meineke wanted $200+. Go here if you want experienced mechanics that won't rip you off. This is the worst place to go to when you need your muffler fixed. There was a hole in my muffler and my tail pipe had rusted off. I took it to S & S Automotive Repair and they sent it to Laugna Muffler without me even knowing. When i got my car back there was a new muffler on it but instead of putting a new tail pipe on like it had needed they welded a 3"" cupling (piece of pipe) onto my rusted tail pipe and conected it to my new muffler. Now not even 8 months later my tail pipe is about to disconect from my muffler AGAIN because of rust. AND on my receipt it says i paid for a muffler and a pipe. Bo (S & S Auto manager) told me that the pipe on my bill (that was for $125) did not mean a tail pipe but the 3"" piece of metal to reconect my tail pipe. So in short if you are a female and wish to have your car not fu(ked up DO NOT GO TO LAGUNA MUFFLER!!!!!!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: They talk to women like we are idiots more
