A Kind Word 11/24/2009

This establishment is in a part of town where you will fear for your life. Pizzeria smack right in the middle of crime central. The pizza is way overrated, pricey and dry! Chicken wings look like they were plucked from sparrows but their wing sauce is outstanding. "A kind word and a gun, will get you a lot further than a kind word" in this neighborhood. more

Over Rated 11/6/2009

This is the most over rated pizza in Western New York. The pizza is dry, the sauce tastes like tomato soup and most of all over priced. The neighborhood the pizzeria is located is right in "The Hood" of the west side of Buffalo. Your life is on the line in this area. more

La Nova Pizzeria 4/16/2006

If you want good pizza this is the place to go. This is one of the most famous restaurants in the area. I know it is only a pizza joint but it is an amazing place to get pizza. The deliver almost everywhere locally. They also have some amazing wings. They aren’t the best I’ve had but they are very good. more

Not my top choice 4/15/2006

People seem to like this place for pizza and wings. I found them to be less than acceptable. Certainly not a top spot or even close. We asked for light sauce and it was smothered in sauce. It was very messy. We ordered mushrooms and they were few and far between. The wings were dry and not that great. I felt ripped off and won't go back. more

Overrated 4/14/2006

A lot of people in the Buffalo area are huge fans of this place. I ‘ve had LA Nova pizza and wings many times. I always have enjoyed the food here but in my opinion it is overrated. There are better pizza and wings in the area. I’m not saying the food here is bad. It is very good but I don’t think it is noteworthy. more

La Nova Pizzeria 3/28/2006

The wings and pizza here are some of the most popular in the area. They deliver everywhere in the area and the prices are great. I’m a big fan of their pizza. It always is perfectly prepared. I just go with the basic cheese and pepperoni but you also have other options. The wings are always tasty, but I’ve had better in the area. more

I love La Nova's pizza and wings, they are out of this world! They are a bit pricier than a lot of the other pizzerias around, but definitely worth it. I recommend their yummy steak pizza hands down! more

Pizza and wings to die for 8/4/2005

Remember that scene from "When Harry Met SAlly?" That could be your reaction to pizza and wings from La Nova. Their barbecue wings are heaven though -- fried and grilled. I've never tasted any wings so good. ANd the pizza is always divine. We always order this for meetings at work and everyone gobbles it up! They have many different specialty pizzas to choose from, too. more
