This was my first time at La Griglia.
We started with the snapper appetizer, which we both enjoyed. The waiter suggested the yellowtail tuna, so I ordered it, rare, and my wife ordered a lobster pasta dish. The tuna was OUTSTANDING. The flavor, a gingery balsalmic vinagrette taste, was perfect for a piece of tuna that was definitely sushi grade. The portion was large and the tomatoes and mushrooms were divine.
My wife's lobster pasta lacked presentation, but she said she liked it. Normally she'll mention a really good dish, so I'm thinking that it was just above average.
The bill was $68 for the two meals, appetizer and 2 drinks (sans tip - $80 with). I considered it a fair price.
I don't believe the tuna was a fluke, because the waiter was so gung-ho that it was the best item.
Pros: Tuna, Atmosphere, Staff
Cons: A little loud, Parking
