in the heart of the antiques district. 8/17/2005

Located in the heart of the antiques district on N. La Brea Avenue, this store is bigger than most of the others and their selection is outstanding. Personally I don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to shopping for antiques but I do know a cool store when I see one and this is it! I browsed for an hour with my girlfriend and we enjoyed the place a lot. more

    Intimate ambience with flattering lighting nurtures seniors, families and couples who wander in from around the neighborhood. The restaurant features a heavily vegetarian mix of Asian, Mexican and Middle Eastern food like a veggie tamale appetizer laden with chili and soy cheese, accompanied by a cup of vegan cream of asparagus soup and its corn muffin lagniappe. There's also a hummus plate and wrapped sanwiches. For drinks, lemonade laced with rosewater is a favorite.
