La Boheme Gentlemen's Cabaret

I was recently in Denver for business dealings and a convention when I happened upon this diamond in the rough. I had seen the unassuming building situated directly across from my hotel and had thought nothing of it. That evening I noticed the sign and being bored with the hotel bar decided to investigate. I was caught by surprise almost immediately, inside the historic building was a very modern gentlemen's cabaret. The place was clean and well lit by "strip club" standards, I felt comfortable almost immediately. I was greated by a very large gentlemen who asked me for ID, but who was very welcoming and polite. I was visiting on a Sunday evening and remarked to the doorman that I was working that I was surprised by how crowded the place was. I learned that it was "Retox" night, or service industry night and that the local service industry people were all there to play. I went inside and was greeted by a stunning bartender who smiled and got my drink order to me quickly. Despite the large crowd and staying busy all the bartenders were polite everytime and gave me attentive service. Every girl I saw in this place was attractive and accessible without constantly "hussling" me for dances or drinks, it was a refreshing change from previous gentlemen's club experiences. I got my share of dances and had a great time, I ended up being late for my monday morning meeting. I returned tuesday and wednesday nights and had an equally as enjoyable time. By wednesday several employees actually said hello to me by name. Tuesday featured 2 for 1 drinks on several products and I drank more than my fair share of jameson. The girls were hot again both nights and I had a great time without being pressured or "bullied" by the strippers. On wednesday I took a girl "off the list" and a manager actually talked to me to make sure the girl wasn't trying to over charge me! I'm completely sold on La Boheme, or La Bo as it seems to be called around town. The staff was great and the girls show you a good time. I spent more than I should have, and will do so again on my next trip to Denver. Pros: Atmosphere, Girls, Staff Cons: hours more

the dancers here are very nice so is all the staff, they are friendly and well run. This is a great place to go and have a good time. parking does suck they don't have any, but there are lots of good specials/happy hour. the dancers are not nasty like a lot of other area clubs. Was there a few days ago and what a great place to visit. Not a big strip club fan but this place is a must see. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left it was great. La Boheme is with out a doubt the best strip club in Denver. Great service, attractive women and an all around fantastic experience. It is high quality entertainment for every occasion and their Sunday Retox happy hour has become a routine and its a great way to kick off the week. I will absolutely be coming back! usually at a club that is considered small by industry standards u usually get either hot girls and crappy service or viceversa.Was really surprised to find that you get both at this place. Bar staff was very cool and busty one named brooke had me watching her pour drinks all nite. Was surprised that on a tuesday nite u could get 2 for 1s on jamesson all nite!!!Well vodka was better then most bars. Hot latina dancer named crystal was very personable never tried to be a hustler. Everytime I go to La Boheme I have a great time. The girls are so much fun to hang out with AND are smokin' hot to boot. The bar staff is awesome and Lex and Amy crack me up everytime I'm in there. I have been going here for awhile and never go away unsatisfied. The girls are beautiful and friendly. Even better the staff is the best in Denver and even as hot as the dancers if not Hotter. Let me begin by saying I have never been much for "Gentlemen's Clubs." Let's just say I'm just very protective of my "personal space." I just went to Vegas with the boys and had to deal with one girl after another pushing themselves up on me at a local strip club they all wanted to go to. Sitting on my lap without invitation, pushing dances on me, etc., etc. One even told me "I could take her shopping" the next day (how thoughtful of her, huh?) and I even gave one $20 just to leave me alone! Going to LaBo (as the locals call it) is a completely different experience. When I have to describe this place to someone who has never been, I say it is "Like a great bar with benefits." The setup is basically two bars on either side with stages in the middle. One can either enjoy a good conversation while chilling at the bar, or for a little more action, move to one of the stages or floor tables. Or for those high-rollers, you can even get a private suite or take over the VIP lounge. The key being: It's your choice! The bar staff consists of beautiful, smart, engaging servers comprised of both males (Dan, Brian and Kevin, etc.) and females (Jenny, Heather, Emma, Brooke, Lexi, Amy, Kimberly, the list goes on and on) . Did I mention it's within walking distance of pretty much anywhere downtown? nice.... There are drink specials on different nights of the week, and I think it speaks volumes that a lot of other local bartenders/staff from area clubs frequent Labo on a regular basis. I have referred numerous friends, clients and business associates to Labo and have never heard anything but praise and thanks in return. I must say I never thought I would frequent a strip club, but when it comes to the experience at Labo, I don't hesitate to consider myself lucky to have found it. This review might sound a bit one-sided, but I have to admit to being won over and give credit where it is due. This place is great.. went there on sunday night.. lots of girls and great service.. the dancers were all very nice.. Met a new girl there named Lexi and she was just about perfect.. She likes to drink with the boys.. I cant figure for the life of me how a 130lb woman can out drink a grown man.. Any ways this is the Gent club to go to when in denver or looking for some time to kill before hitting the many venues in the area.. The girls are not to pushy for dances and the staff and bartenders are all great.. Sunday night was industry night so the drink prices were the cheapest youll find at this type of venue.. So I go to the strip clubs with the guys about once a month, and I am no stranger to La Boheme. I went in last Saturday night to grab a drink and enjoy the company of the attractive staff only to find myself in the middle of a hysterical hurricane of energy and comedy. I was witnessing a hell of a show that two female bartenders were putting on. Between wearing lingerie and men’s dress shirts and the heavy girl on girl flirting there was plenty of tequila being drank by patrons and staff alike and the next thing you know there is a full on marshmallow gun war between the staff. The male staff was running around like they were on covert ops missions and the girls looked like James Bond’s muses with their cute outfits and sassy attitudes. Despite the many marshmallows in my drinks the crowd was enjoying the fun and I must admit I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Guys be sure to order drinks made with booze located on the upper most shelves. You get a bit of an extra show from the female bar staff if you do. A friend of mine recently had a going away party for someone at La Boheme. She said they had a total blast and gave me a contact there to call. A co-worker and I quickly followed up with her contact, a nice lady named Brooke, and headed on over to check the place out. Being a bit new to Denver, I can honestly say I had no idea it was a gentlemens club! LOL! I had a great conversation with Brooke and was suddenly put at ease with that fact. I was incredibly impressed when she walked me around and then went through the menu and drink optionsn for our event.Our party was amazing! And ladies....the place is so upscale and has such an elegant environment it simply feels like you're at a very hip and sexy place for happy hour...not a gentlemens club. It was convenient, easy to organize, the customer service was incredible, the staff was attractive and charming and we will most certainly be back. Ask for Brooke, she rocks!!! My friends and I went to La Boheme last saturday night and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed! The prices were very reasonable (even for strip club standards) and the service was impeccable. Right when you enter the club you are welcomed with a warm greeting from a beautiful hostess and the bouncers are surprisingly friendly. The first thing I noticed was that it was very clean and inviting and the girls were exceptionally sexy! Also, there were tons of good looking women who didn't work there. Also, it didn't have the traditional "strip club" vibe. It felt more like an upscale lounge than a gentlemens club. Next time I am in town I will definetly be back! I entertain clients a lot and have been to just about every strip club in the western hemisphere and this is one of my favorites. The club is comfortable, the girls are classy and beautiful, management is professional, and as for the bar and wait staff Lex and Amish Amy are superb always adding the appropriate dose of lime to my Patron Platinum. The music is great especially after the DJ downs 4-5 shots of Sambuca. Your are always guaranteed good time at this joint. Cover charge is cheap, drinks and dances are also very inexpensive. Keep in mind if you go to a strip club, be prepared to spend some money. If you can't afford to dish out a few bucks stay home you don’t belong there. Otherwise you’ll end up writing a bad review for the club because you spent your rent money - as the sirens that haunt this place can quickly become an addiction. The dancer A-team at labo far outweighs the B-team which is much more than I can say for most of the clubs in denver. But who cares if they are just hot?!! The girls are also super nice, great to talk to, and not at all pushy. I will say however that what makes LaBo so unique is not what's going on on the stages but what is going on behind the bar. If you havn't yet met the female bartenders at LaBo you are freaking missing out. Not many places can say that they have girls both on stage and behind the bar that are equally hot. I recommend going in on the weekend or on Two-fer tuesdays-- Two4one EVERYTHING- yes that includes drinks, yes that includes lapdances!! (Also they have this sexy little asian that works behind the bar that night--and damn). As a long time patron of La Boheme, it is time someone sings this club’s praises again. La Boheme reminds me of the bar Cheers only with boobs. The staff is friendly and personable and I have always received attentive service and everyone knows my name. I am greeted with my usual drink and a friendly hello. This club offers an atmosphere unlike the other Gentleman’s clubs in town. The music is always great, above and beyond your typical redundant strip club music list. The DJs at La Boheme really understand how to entertain a crowd and keep the energy running high in the room. The staff is not only attractive (from management to cocktail server) but they are great conversationalists and entertainers. The dancers are very attractive and charming to boot. I have brought many clients to La Boheme over the years and my clients have always commented on how great the staff is and how warm and genuine they are. If you are looking for a boys night out, a quick drink with some female companionship, or a place to call your neighborhood hangout, I would tell you to stop by and check out La Boheme. Let's start with the definition of a strip club shall we, I think it goes something like this...an establishment with hot nude girls(emphasis on both hot and nude) where you can get alcohol. That bein' said this place is the titts (pun intended). I have visited all the clubs in Denver and this is by far my favorite. Being a girl I am particularly picky about the ladies at strip clubs. The girls are here are both attractive and SEXY in that "I wish we met on different terms and I was gay sort of way.” Now on to the bar…in my opinion the best bartender in Denver works here. Her name is Brooke and you can’t miss her. She is HOT, FUN and GETS THE JOB DONE!!! Did I say I love this place? Let's move on to some of my personal experiences here. Head in around 10 pm. Start out around the bar have a few drinks to loosen up. Nothing like a little T & A & A to get the night going. Then my friends and I sat in the back on one of the sofas because I'm a woman and I wasn't all that interested in sitting in the front, getting a closer view of poonann. The girls don't pester you for tips or a lap dance, nor did they get tiffy when they asked and you deny them. My male friends were getting them though, which is possibly what put me in the mood. So us ladies decide that we should get a lap dance just for the fun of it. So we picked out the prettiest, friendliest, most talented, on the floor and had at it. THERE ARE MANY NICE ONES TO CHOOSE FROM!!! Our decision was somewhat affected by the fact that she could clap her ass cheeks. This is a great place to go alone or with a group. The girls are hot and the bar and waitstaff are just as hot. Lots of tattoos, but lots of girls without them as well. Fantastic happy hour. 4-7 monday through friday you can get $3.50 wines, wells, and drafts. If you are a service industry member ( work in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality) sunday is fun day!!!!!! One of the strongest characteristics of La Boheme has going for it is quality over quantity...aside from being safe and clean and comfortable La Boheme manages to achieve a vibe that is erotic without being sleezy. The quality control on the dancers is kept up, the bar staff is intelligent and personable, and the DJs actually DJ...not an old school strip club cliche' like most spots, progressive and modern in almost every sense... My waitress was a blonde c unt named amy who thinks she deserved a better tip than shes worth. She wasnt even a little cute. The girls looked like tattooed crack whores. The managers are a joke who have the intelligence of a rock and should be replaced. Go here if you are into the "classless divebar" thing. As for me, no thanks. Out of towners beware, my son in law, was sent to the hospital - he was beaten by the bouncers. Concusion, 16 stitches to the face, they charged him with petty theft and then beat the hell out of him. However, his credit card was charged over $900 dollars. He was kept in the hospital because they could not get his heart beat under control (did someone slip something in his drink?). MADE A MAJOR MISTAKE GOING TO THIS PLACE.
