Having been once before, where the service was poor and the food barely passable, my girlfriend and I gave it a second chance. Maybe it was a one-off, we naively thought. We walked in and all the tables were free so, with no one to greet us and suggest otherwise, we sat ourselves down. The waitress came over and TOLD us to move. But why, I asked? "Because the table's for three people and there's only two of you." Impressed by her ability to count, I pleaded mercy citing the fact the place was empty. "It's company policy," was her bizarre retort. I said well I suppose we'll go elsewhere then, and she just flounced off in a huff.
The whole scenario left my girlfriend and I in a state of shock. We're weren't mad, more just in disbelief as all the great restarants in L.A. have never treated us like that. Hmmm, maybe this place isn't quite in the same league. We went to the Italian place a couple of doors down and had a nice, uninterrupted meal. Go there instead.
After finishing our dinner we left and had to walk past La Poo. Oh, looky what we have here...two people sat at the "three person" table. You gotta chuckle!
The waitress- you know who you are- was a disgrace, a complete and utter joke.
Pros: Ya joking, aren't yer?
Cons: Service
