Real Mexican food for a change 12/8/2008

No-frills restaurant in Bridgeport with authentic Mexican - not the more familiar Tex-Mex - cuisine. Cactus salad was new to us but interesting and enjoyable. The mole chicken was extremely fresh and tender with a spicy sauce. All in all far better than other Mexican restaurants in swankier surrounding neighborhoods. Highly recommended. Good food, service was about average, moderately priced (dinner for two with drinks was about $30). Serves some regional Mexican dishes. Margaritas were a bit watered down. I would go here again. Pros: Serves many regional Mexican dishes. Good selection of seafood dishes. Cons: Margaritas were watered down. more
