Wonderful 8/8/2011

I just saw Annemarier today for the first time. She was absolutely wonderful. I'm one of those people who doesn't really know what to ask for in a haircut yet gets really particular when it doesn't work out right. Annemarie looked at what my hair does naturally, made suggestions that worked with but improved my previous cut, and taught me a few tricks to help me style it best. more

Really great job 8/4/2011

The staff does a really great job of making you feel like the Spa is your personal space. It was my birthday, and the ladies there made me feel extra special. We did a couples massage with Paul and Lisa, and both were amazing. I almost fell asleep. Paul knew exactly what sore areas I had on my back and worked out my knots without me once going "ow!" or wincing. They have great lighting and therapeutic oils and lotions, so you're relaxed the entire time. I almost wished my hour would never come up. more

Confident staff 7/28/2011

My confidence in Annemarie was also encouraged when she was able to answer questions that other hairstylists were not able to explain to me and when she noticed that the previous stylist had cut my hair unevenly. It's comforting to know that she's both informed and attentive to detail. more

Will be back! 7/21/2011

I've had a couple of amazing massages here and they have been fantastic. I walked out of the spa feeling like a new woman. I was able ot have a steam bath before hand which is a nice touch. By the time you have your massage, you're very relaxed. Will definitely be back again when I can justify treating myself to another day of pampering!! more

I am very satisfied with the services I have received at La Novita. Kerri has been styling and coloring my hair for about 5 years. She does an excellent job and is very professional. I regularly get compliments on my hair cut and proudly refer Kerri and La Novita to others. I have been using the spa services for several years as well and give and get gift certificates for services. The spa personnel are also very professional and accommodating. Most recently I have enjoyed one of the spa packages with a friend. Kelly and Lisa provided services to both of us and my friend was especially impressed with their level of expertise. It was her first time at La Novita. Providing complimentary beverages is a nice touch and is appreciated, especially during a 4-5 hr spa package. Also, computer access is helpful and an efficient way to use time waiting for color processing. Your salon is comfortable and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. I hope to bring another friend this year to enjoy your spa services with me. more

Initially they were not able to accomodate that due to schedules (which I understand). The day of however, they called to say that they were able to move some appointments around and that I could come in for a 90 min massage. Same time, everything. You could tell they were really trying their best to be as flexible as possible, which I really appreciated. more

La Novita is great 6/20/2011

La Novita is great. The whole experience from when I called for an appointment to paying was pleasant. I had originally booked at 60 min massage with a 30 minute Reflexology add-on and a 60 minute facial. then a few days before my appt I wanted to switch to a 90 minute massage since I was having some back issues. more

My massage was great , when I left that evening after having my massage, I slept that night until the next evening, that is something that I hadn't done in years.The new Renovations, has made the place look so beautiful, When I walked revisited La- Novita, I thought that I walked in the wrong place,didn't know where I was. Stupid me asked the receptionist, is this La- Novita ? I'm going to buy a massage gift certificate for my friend, for her birthday.When you reach a certain age in life everyone should get a massage at least once a month. Thanks to all of you!` more

The professionalism at la novita salon & spa is what makes me return again and again. They took time to get to know me over the few months I've been going to them, they keep meticulous notes on my likes/dislikes, and they treat me like royalty. As a result, my skin went from 30% clear to 95% clear, my eyebrows are always fantastic, and I've had the most amazing massages. Every time I visit, they go above and beyond and always give me more than I expect. Melissa's bubbly personality permeates this spot. I highly recommend this spa. more

I love love love this Spa... It is almost like walking back into the "cool club" in high school. The owner is the same way! I have my favs but I can never remember their names. Good thing they keep a computer record. Spa treatments are amazing! I would high recommend. more

I could sleep there !!! Excellent place, I went to La novita the people were pleasant, and professional. I really liked my colorist, I think his name is Mark, That man can color some hair,he educated me on things about my hair, things that I never knew, he 's very experienced with all types of hair,I watched how he interacted with his co-workers ,I was very impressed on how he was training and teaching some of their staff,during my visit . more

convenient, comfortable, relaxing place 6/6/2011

The whole feel of this salon is customer satisfaction. Yes, you may wait 15 minutes for your stylist, but are you not asked if you would like a free glass of wine, a cup of coffee, etc? If that's not customer service then I'm not really sure what is I suppose? From the relaxing and beautiful wash room to the computer station, it seems to me that La Novita has done nothing but try to make the salon a convenient, comfortable, relaxing place where clients can come and not worry about a thing! Unlike other salons where the washroom is a frenzy of people chatting, La Novita tries to make this a relaxing process- If that offends you- you need to have your hair done somewhere where the concern of the stylists is getting you in and out of the salon and making another dollar- not to assure that you are relaxed. more

This place is great! My colorist, Tiffany does a great job. I've had other colorists there and so have my friends, and I've never seen a bad color job from LaNovita. Yes, it can be costly, but like they say, "you get what you pay for". more

I have had many stylists over the years, and one had yet to make an impression until today. I have been at the best salons in Boston and the surrounding areas .......but Sarah at La Novita takes the first place. All I can say is WOW!!! The girl knows how to cut hair. I am super impressed to the point that I had to write a review --------- and I never - ever write reviews. She is wonderful, professional, energetic, and best of all and great-great stylist. I have been to many salons and spas and this one is the best! I have been going for 5 years and I never had a bad experience. I get my color, cut and manicure every 4 weeks a facial and massage every two months. I look forward to my services every time. The owners are doing something right, just about everyone I know loves la novita. Beware when you enter, it's a no pretentious zone! more
