A year La Jolla Canyon brought a great canyon view, natural surroundings, and friendly neighbors. My favourite memories are of the awesome raccoon that would visit our patio at night. However, living there also meant not enough parking, somewhat shoddy maintenance, a pool that didn't look too clean, and lots of mold all over our apartment. The mold ran rampant in that complex in a lot of the units. Hopefully renovations have solved that problem by now, but this is not on the top of my recommended housing list.
