yummy veggie fajita burrito! 4/22/2006

I love a place that can make a veggie burrito taste like more than a salad wrapped in a tortilla! Their veggie fajita burrito has grilled onions and peppers mixed in with the regular veggie-burrito-fare. It's so good! The service is always friendly and nice, and they have good guacamole! La Bonita is where it is at 9/1/2005

La Bonita feeds me about 2 times a week at a minimum. As a yuppie living in NE portland, fixing up my house makes me HUNGRY! I barely have enough time to watch my cool shows on my tivo, I mean I have to sync up my ipod for my run tomorrow before I head off to work. So a lot of times all I have time for is a good quick bite. Chicken Burrito for me is better than anything I can think of around town after working hard on gentrifying the neighborhood. The family that runs the place is so sweet. They know my exact order when I come in. Lots of smiles and happy people eatting there. I'd say it is a great attraction on Alberta. La Bonita es muy excelente 7/26/2002

La Bonita is the best burrito joint in Portland. It is family owned--and what a wonderfully friendly family they are!--and the veggy burritos should appeal to even the pickiest vegetarian (lots of black beans, rice, pico de gallo, light on the cheese). Yes, there are cheaper burritos in the neighborhood (by about a buck), but cheaper isn't always better--especially if you appreciate quality, quantity, and friendly service. After checking out many Mexican restaurants in PDX, I've found that La Bonita has the best burritos in town. The service is friendly, you can't beat their prices, and you get your food fast. Best burritos on Alberta 5/13/2002

This tiny taqueria serves up the tastiest burritos in all of Portland - much better than La Sirenita next door. These are monsters, loaded with beans and a choice of meat, as well as cilantro and other fixings. The counter people are particularly nice, service is fast, and options are cheap.
