I've been a Bally member for quite some time, I enjoy the ability to have multiple gyms at my disposal to get a good workout. That being said, this particular Bally's is not bad. There's a lot of new equipment, plus plenty of ""Hammer Strength"" equipment. The gym itself is clean. I didn't see any of the madness that some of the other folks who wrote reviews saw. I don't deal with the trainers, because I am a private trainer and I know the whole car salesman style pitch that happens at most chain clubs. But all that aside, the equipment is clean and plentiful, the staff is relatively friendly, then again because of my personality they really don't have a choice. As for the locker rooms, I've seen worse, it's all timing. Believe me, after reading a bunch of reviews on this location, I walked in expecting the worst, but it's not bad, it's part of the Macy's mall complex so how bad can it really be ?
