Could be better 12/15/2011

This place has a lot of potential, the staff is not the problem as they have always been friendly to me. However this place just always seems run down. It is hard to explain as they got a lot of new equipment about a year ago but it just seems old. A lot of the equipment that is popular is always full so I always feel as though I am waiting to work out. more

Dirty, rundown 1/23/2011

Been a member for over 20 years, so the dues are CHEAP! If they weren't there would be no way I'd still be a member. They got great ""new"" spin bikes, but are not adjusted properly so they might as well be OLD. This place is run down and equipment is in need of maintence and/or repair. more

Bellevue Bally's Total Fitness 11/29/2010

Of the two Bally Total Fitness in the east side, this is by far the better/ It's not great, but it does have a wet spa. The showers are really bad and almost always need soap. The sauna has been updated earlier this year, the steamroom is OK usually not hot enough, the whirlpool is OK when it works. True, they don't have enough treadmill machines but the TV's have been updated and finally they have the ability to show more than one channel at a time. more

Dirty and run down........but a great value 11/26/2010

I've been a member here for over 20 years. Don't expect clean gym floors, locker rooms, regular refurbishment, or 100% operable equipment. What you can expect is a really pleasant staff, competent trainers, and most equipment working most of the time. This is a middle to lower middle class club. You'll see cab drivers, truck drivers, car salesmen and retired guys here. I pay roughly $200 a year dues, about $18 a month. For that I get unlimited access to Powerflex & Total Body Workout classes, and weight, basketball, racquetball, and spinning facilities. I can easily afford more upscale Eastside places like BAC or Samena, but why? Ballys is the best bang for the buck. more
