I like this LaBu much better than the one on Durant, that one feels dirty. This LaBu is nicer and has an outdoor patio that is really nice. I think that there burritos are prett...

I like this LaBu much better than the one on Durant, that one feels dirty. This LaBu is nicer and has an outdoor patio that is really nice. I think that there burritos are pretty tasty and the prices are not too steep. If you want a quick bite to eat this is the place to go, their wait time is not horrible, unless you hit lunchtime traffic. more

philly cheese steak in a burrito 3/17/2006

La Burrita is probably the best place to go for your ideal burrito. Not only do they give you like seven choices on tortillas (from whole wheat to spinach or tomato), they also have tons of options on flavors. You can also decide on what size you want...their burritos come in a regular size which is the size of a normal burrito and a large which will definately fill you up. The best burrito they have is the philly cheese steak burrito. I really recommend it with the tomato tortilla. The owners are really nice. There was this one time I ordered without realizing I left my wallet at home, and he let me go home and get cash and come back. Great chips and salsa. more

La Burrita 9/11/2005

Good food and low prices. Good salsa and chips. Good Mexican food. Nice ambience. I like the quesadillas. Friends recommend the nachos and burritos. The restaurant is kind of small so not a lot of seating area. Fills up quickly. A popular spot among students. Nice service. If you like Mexican food, La Burrita is a good way to go. Be sure to bring friends and family along. more

Decent Mexican Food; Best enjoyed at night 8/13/2005

La Burrita is one of a handful of restaurants located on the north side of the UC Berkeley campus. It is a popular choice among Berkeley students looking for a quick and cheap lunch or a midnight snack. The quality of the food may be lacking, but the sheer quantity more than makes up for it. For less than 5 bucks, you can get an enormous burrito filled with rice, beans, and either chicken or beef. If that burrito isn't quite enough, serve yourself some complimentary chips and salsa in a basket (or bag it). Couple the low prices with the restaurant's late closing hours (it opens well after midnight) and you've got a winner. more
