Good: Not a good environment.. Bad: I was apalled to see this institution. It was filthy and unorganized. The tables were graffitied and the entire place was dimly lit. On top of that, the woman who runs the place was awful to the children, literally barking orders at them and degrading them as they did their work. She was rude and unappreciative. It was definitely not a fit environment for children.. Improvements: I think the entire place should be checked up on. This is not even a tutoring institute, it's a place for exceptionally bright children to stress out even more than they already are, miss out on after school down time, and get yelled at and degraded to boot. It's sick.. Other: There was no sign of any kind of progressive education here. The Allentown Kumon's motto seems to be to kill creativity, spirits, and liveliness in America's children. But hey, it's going to look good on a FOUR YEAR OLD's resume, right? This place needs a serious cleaning, fundraising for more efficient and organized materials, and better morale and affability in the teachers if it's going to pass for a place of learning at all..
