He fired his understanding nurse practitioners and started telling his patients that use MMJ to stop using or else they would be released as a patient of his.

No only is the Dr. Deogun Great but so is the staff! How refreshing! They were willing to listen when no other Dr. was. Chronic pain is a tricky condition, it's not like an open wounds that everyone can see, so sometimes it's hard to find people or Dr's That can/will empathize with you. It was so refreshing to be embraced by a clinic that does just that! I would recommend him to my own family! more

The patient will only meet with Dr. Deogun once, afterwards the patient will only be seen by arrogant NPs. I would like to point out that Dr. Deogun and his staff do not believe people suffer from pain. Their medical approach is a pseudo-scientific in which they believe pain is only psychological. When patients first meet with Deogun they will be subjected to his creed that "one Motrin a month is too much." This is not a cheerful adage to a person who is suffering but rather a condescending one. You must remember, the patient is not there for a stubbed toe, these people are suffering. If you're considering making an appointment with Dr. Deogun's Practice be prepared to be subtly mocked about so-called "suffering." Remember, this practice is a front for the dogmatic belief that "suffering only exists in the mind." This may sound nice in a Buddhist Temple but these maxims should be kept out of the doctor's office and western medicine in general. First time patients should also be prepared for bi-monthly co-payments. The NPs (remember you'll meet with Deogun only once) will not fill prescriptions over the phone nor will they provide refills on prescriptions. To get a script filled one must visit their office where the patient will be subjected to the same questions as last month. Please exit and pay. more

Dr. Kuldip Deogun is the medical director of The Chronic Pain Institute in Clinton Township, MI. His methods of practice include spinal cord injections, physical therapy (for those who are able) and medication therapy. My neurosurgeon suggested that I set an appointment here and I received my packet in the mail today to register beforehand. Talk about dejavu! Years ago, I was enrolled in this very same clinic for a separate incident. I can just imagine the doctors expression when he sees me again next week! Anyhow, they couldn't have recommended a kinder or more compassion specialist than Dr. Deogun. I am eager to meet with him and find out how we can alleviate some of the pain and make this melady more comfortable to bear. I doubt very much that I can have the spinal cord injections due to the numerous cysts that are causing much of the problem. I will keep in update on what he has in store for me in hopes that this may be some help to those with similar difficulties. more
