If you see her name tag say "Zarai", leave. She was not busy at all ad didn't help me one bit. While taking my order, i had to write everything myself and she got mad when i didn't write something. how was i supposed to know when she just handed me a blank note pad? I was ordering a corsage and she barked, "Only roses!", which is false because my friend went just the order day and got something besides a rose. To top it off, she over-charged me $10. Lazy, incompetent, and rude. more

kROGER'S by location 8/15/2010

Kroger's on 1960 and Eldridgeis great on honorig mistakes on prices. They give the first one free and correct the prices. They give senior citizen discounts, rain checks, double and triple coupons, gas discounts. They have opened another register on my request when they are busy. THey have unannouned sales, too! One day I went in and found strawberries for 99 cents! They have great markdowns, too. I found summer toys, etc in AUg. 75% off! The store on Antoine and Tidwell lacks certain items and the service there is abysmal! So it depends on the neighborhood and how old the store and how effective the manager is. Service on Eld. and 1960 is great and the store and restrooms are clean! I got $25 for transferring a prescription! Need I say more? Signed, Grateful One from Houston more

Think Their Customers are Stpid 5/7/2009

Kroger plays games with their prices. They raise prices 2 to 3 weeks ahead of the sale and then put the item back on sale at reg retail during the sale. Buy one get one free is really a rip off. They more than double the prices 3 weeks ahead of the sale and then sale the item as a BOGO Free. Trust me....they do it every day. They just figure their customers are stupid and can't figure it out. Most can't. more

Nice store, high prices! 3/18/2006

Kroger’s is a really nice “upscale” grocery store but their prices are just ridiculous. I don’t know why they are so high because they offer the exact same products that other grocery stores offer. The only perks of this store is that they offer a salad bar, it is more clean and brighter, and that some of their breads are fresher. Other than that, I suggest you go to another store. more

Horrible Service 2/18/2006

This is the worst Kroger grocery store I have ever been to. I had a horrible experience with two employees there on separate occasions. They were both completely rude and I could tell they just wanted me to get out of the store. The manager was no older than 17 and he could not even manage his own workers. The store and the items they sell are just like any other grocery store, so you might as well go to one where the employees are nice and helpful. more
