It's a good thing I'm not allergic to seafood. Today, I got ""Loaded Baked Potato"" soup from the deli hot bar. When I got home and started eating it, it was Clam Chowder! Big difference. And, a big danger if you're allergice to seafood. I will be sending Kroger an email as well. more

I am a little upset about the set up of 5/22/2012

I am a little upset about the set up of the salad bar/hot bar. I can never reach the back because the glass ""roof"" is way to over sized. I thought it was just me, but today I saw 3 other people, plus one employee stocking the bar, all having trouble reaching the back row. Can the glass be shortened? more

The absoute worst experience 4/4/2012

I was at Kroger on Tuesday evening around 8:30, and there were two female employees standing in front of the store yelling. They were yelling at each other all sorts of obscenities, and it was quite disturbing. Once I got in the store and began my shopping experience, it was ok. However, there were only two lines open for all of the customers in the store. There was a tremendous wait for the line to clear so I could get to the front to pay. Once my groceries were tallied, I paid...the two baggers were very rude. One of them put my lettuce on the bottom of the bag, and the sodas I bought smashed it. They also proceeded to call another customer Billy Bob and the night manager (who was a friend of this customer) Jethroe, and said the two of them were on the Beverly Hillbillies. There was also a female friend with me purchasing groceries at the same time, and once they started bagging her groceries. I asked them “please don’t pack her bags as heavy”, and they laughed aloud, proceeded to take one of the bags out of the buggy, and removed some of the groceries. Once some of the groceries were removed one of them handed me the bag, and very rudely said ""is that light enough for you or do I need to do more?"" I told the both of them twice we were going separate places once leaving the store, and she would not be able to pick-up those heavy bags. One of the two of them quietly said to the other one “like we care""!!! The manager came over to the two of them while working on her groceries, and asked one of them to get in some buggies. They both started complaining and said "" no way man, I been outside more today than I want to"". The manager proceeded to beg them to go, and said he had no one else. Once the manager stopped begging them to get the buggies inside, he asked them to split up. They said ""ok"" once he walked away “like we are"". It was the conclusion of my horrific experience at Kroger on Cary Street in Richmond, VA, and I will never go back in there again. Why oh why did Ukrops have to close? more
