The furniture is hand-crafted down to the hand-rubbed finish, the vintage look. Wonderful items to accessorize the home like brass statues of buddhas and hindu deities and traditional style bed covers. Some of their teak cabinets from Indian vendors are nice with their turqoise finish. There's a table that caught my eye from China and it represents a certificate to enter Forbidden City, it's a must-see item and i wish i could afford it. Im amazed at their selection of goods from Thailand Indonesia China. Its a one-stop shopping for Eastern, Indian pieces. I found the store while getting off the 101 freeway driving down Melrose and was attracted by their vibrant Indian umbrellas and pillows on the sidewalk. Nevertheless, there is a huge selection of Indian fabric and pillows. My favorite piece was the one in front, a huge carved Ganesh. I asked how much it was and they said it wasnt for sale because it was one of the shrines the owner prays with. But that's ok. I had a great experience there and love the ambiance. They have a unique selection of buddhas, wooden stone and marble. I bought a marble buddha and a set of earrings. I've been shopping for one for weeks and it was in the best condition with an astonishingly great price. I will be back for more. Chao! They are very nice people and I got exactly what I was looking for. All of their stuff is import from India and China. I purchased a chest from India for my 42" Vizio plasma and works really well with my living room. I found out they have a myspace website "myspace. com/koancollection" with a collection of pictures - fun to look at.
