I purchased my dress at the Badgley Mischka trunk show in 2008 at Kleinfelds. I was told I was looking at the newest styles. There was video in the lobby of the Spring 2009 bridal fashion collection playing as we waited. I found the dress I wanted, the sales associate told us this dress was "straight off the runway" and "the models had just stretched it out" which implied it was Spring 2009. Well once I got home I did some research and learned the dress I agreed to purchase was from Spring 2007. Four seasons ago! I had agreed to pay premium price for a gown I believed was new to the market. I emailed and called Ronnie Rothstein and Mara Urshel to convey my disappointment. The official response was apologetic that their had been a misunderstanding but that wedding gowns are unlike couture where they hold retail value for seasons to come. I still feel the gown was misrepresented and I just want to let other people know that if you go to Kleinfelds to purchase your dress you may want to ask your sales associate to clarify exactly what you are purchasing so you don't end up expecting one thing and getting another. more

This is where the well dressed brides and their family shop. I've gotten a few bridesmaid dresses here over the years, and never been disappointed with the fit or quality. These are not "off the rack" dresses, and the staff does custom fit all these designs. Yes, they are pricy, but we are not here because we are looking for a bargain. This store celebrates design and fashion, and the staff acts accordingly. If you are looking for "the" dress, this is the place to find it. They have been providing quality service and design to the Brooklyn area for years. And if you can stand the attitude, you will be very pleased with the choices, especially your own. more

this is THE place for looking at myriads of gowns and being treated really well in the process. their selection is enormous and the staff is really very knowledgeable about what will and what won't look good on a given person. it might be hard to shop there if you're not very assertive - they tend to be quite forceful in their recommendations, so bring a friend who can advocate for you if you can't do it for yourself. more

Kleinsfelds has a huge selection of dresses to choose from. The only thing I that bothered me was that I found the staff a little snobby and pushy. They were always trying to push the more expensive dresses, but I do have to admit they know their stuff. It can get a little crazy in there. You have to a appointment. There is so much people in there. It is a good thing that they are moving to a bigger space. more

I went to Kleinfelds looking for a wedding dress, and I was very, very impressed with their selection. They have such a large selection of dresses that you are bound to find something that you like. The sales staff is a little snooty, and they did try to steer you to the more expensive dresses, but they do know their stuff. The store atmosphere is a little chaotic due to the sheer size of the store. But they do have the very best selection of dresses. more
