I've been to some very nice spas, and Kiva is not among them. Their waiting rooms and locker room are too small, which means that from the beginning you're tripping over people and standing in the waiting room. Their pedicures are given in those pedicure chairs you see at dive nail bars. At top spas I've been to, you sit on a regular chair or lie back, soaking your feet in a bowl with pebbles during your pedicure rather than sitting in one of those cheesy massage chairs. For $65, I can get two mani/pedis at the dive place across the street, so why pay $65 for a single pedicure at Kiva when it's the same experience? All the rooms are cramped, and you feel rushed. Kiva just doesn't get the small things, and they should for the prices they charge.
Pros: Decent services
Cons: Gimmicky concept, Cramped, Poor value
