This business has recently moved from its' old location on Brookdale to its' new location and brand new building. While it was located in the old spot, I had many occasions to observe classes for the younger set. They accept children for Karate lessons from ages 5 on up. They offer beginners and advanced classes. During the times that I observed the younger, beginning classes there seemed to be lots of pandemonium. Lots of older, more advanced students were always milling about and kicking. There was constant in and out of the main door with groups congregating on the outside so anyone coming into the place had to "excuse themselves" to get by. I don't feel as if there was enough one-on-one attention paid to the younger students. At times the younger students were being instructed by students not too much older than they were and these mini-instructors spent a lot of time visiting with other students and friends. In my opinion there was too much emphasis on winning competitions instead of developing skills.
