Hey i stumbled onto this review site and noticed some bad feedback from some customers. I am the new owner of Kings Comix and we want to let know we are dedicated to serving Los Angeles/Burbank area with great respect and devotion to all who come into our store. I want to start by thanking the management team of Bob & Dawn Rodriguez at Kings comics & cards for doing a great job with the redecorating of the New and improved Kings Comix & cards. Not only is the service like it used to be when phil ran the place but the stock is even better and more consistent. If you want to experience a full service Sports & Comics store plus CCG Games and more stuff on their website (http://www.kingscomix.com/) than any one store i have ever seen, then you need to go and check out these guys. I feel like home when i go in there and get treated just the same. I read the reviews and these people were not dealing with the new management. The store manager started the tournament back up because there were players who wanted to play so stop your complaining and just admit you know he did the right thing. He made a on the spot decision and thanks to him lots of other players got to play. He had guts to continue and you need to rethink your comment. more

After telling some people a tournament was cancelled for the night, the manager decided a few minutes later to start it after sending some peolpe home with no way of letting them know he 'changed his mind'. Once you tell any participant that it's cancelled, it is CANCELLED. You can't start it up later and isolate those people you already sent home. Absolutely ridiculous. more

I've been looking for a new comic book shop since I moved into the valley. I tried this place out on the recommendation of a friend, and while they have a lot of product, there doesn't seem to be anyone working in the store that knows anything about the product they sell. I was in on a Wednesday, New Comic Day, and other customers in their pull service came in, got their books, and left. I've never been in a shop where the regular customers don't have at least a few things to say about what they buy. I might go in to pick something up once in a while, but I won't go there on a regular basis... more

I thought this store was really good. I didn't think much of it until I came in here. They have a huge array of collection of comic books and cards. I am not a big fan but could not resist buying these beautiful cards that were on display. It was love at first sight with those cards. I carry them around, asking everyone if they want to play. Seriously, it was pretty! The guy there was really nice as well and he helped me get another copy of my cards. more

Kings Comic & Cards is a good card shop located in the valley. They have a nice big store so their merchandise is not so cluttered. They have a wide selection of comic books but they specialize in CCGs. The staff is very friendly and always willing to talk about the newest comics because they read them all. This is the place to go if you are into an CCG I have met a few friends here that I play with on a weekly basis. Check out Kings Comic and Cards if you love CCGs. more
