Take My Breath Away! 3/24/2009

To my delight, I have been the recipient of many beautiful floral deliveries from my perfect husband. Sent by his big heart, but created by King Florist, the flowers have wowed and swooned me. Every bouquet has taken my breath away. The creative deigns are unique and the flowers perfect in every detail. I appreciate the special touches that are added to the arrangements, like peacock feathers tucked into a stunning array of tulips, or a delicious box of chocolates with enough to share with my co-workers. My husband and I married only a year ago after a very quick courtship. It makes me wonder to what extent King Florist had to play with the two if us falling in love. Thank you for helping my birthday, first-date anniversary, Valentines and so many other special times a happy and memorable event. Pros: Creative Designs Cons: No Cons! more

100% Perfect! 2/11/2009

I thought that customer service was dead.... until I found King Florist of Austin! I have never bought flowers over the internet or phone and was nervous about them being right and getting them to her on time. I called them this morning and in 3 hours they were on her desk and perfectly what I ordered. I can tell you that i have never been happier with a flower company in my life, but all I ask is that you give them the chance to make you a life customer like I am. Pros: PERFECT! Cons: The only downside is that they are in Austin and I'm in Los Angeles..... branch out! more

Wonderful Florist with Unusual Designs 12/26/2008

I am an Austinite living abroad and have had occasion to order flowers for friends several times in the last year. King Florist has the most unusual designs and an easy to use website. My friends to whom I have sent the flowers have been thrilled with their gifts, which is all I could ask for and more. more

Most Professional Last Minute Flower Service 12/1/2008

If you are looking for a no hassle, last minute florist with an extremely professional experience, then King Florist is the shop you should use. I called with less than 24 hour notice and requested 34 dozen roses. I also told the shop that "I may need them, but I would call with a 1.5 hour notice." Not only did they agree to these terms, but King Florist was extremely professional, pleasant, and on time. I give them the highest recommendation possible. more

King Florist Rocks! 2/22/2008

King Florist Rocks! I called several other Austin florists and none of them wanted to deliver flowers to my sick friend who needed cheering up. All I asked for is a large bunch of Dutch tulips in a vase anchored with stones delivered the next day. What was delivered was so beautiful that my friend said she had to touch them to be sure they were real because they were so perfect. King Florist designed a beautiful arrangement around my request, delivered it on time and called me to confirm the delivery had been made. They definitely cheered up my friend and gained a loyal customer. Pros: Fresh arrangements delivered ontime more

I received the most beautiful arrangement from King Florist today. The flowers are very unique and smell wonderful. King Florist did a great job of arranging them and went above and beyond the usual bouquet you receive from most florists. I was very impressed and will use King Florist for future purchaes. more

Beautiful Arrangement for Boss's Day! 10/16/2007

My office staff all chipped in an AMAZINGLY beautiful arrangement for our manager for Boss's Day. Our delivery arrived 1st thing this morning (9:30ish) and we were all amazed at the creativity and artistry that obviously went into our "masterpiece"! A uniquely shaped vase, with beautiful bluish-grey stones at the bottom, and an assortment of flowers. And I don't mean your typical--daisies, roses & carnations. I mean beautiful flowers in lovely fall/earthy colors--far more stunning that the every day variety. I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish and recommend them HIGHLY! Pros: Prompt, Unique, Coupon/Discount offered Cons: none more

Disappointed 10/12/2007

Because of all the rave reviews posted here, I selected this florist to make a wrist corsage for my wedding. It was made of tiny orange orchids, quite pretty but so small it had no visual impact whatsoever. I was very disappointed. It was probably 2" x 2" at the most and had ribbon ties to hold it on that I felt would simply get in my food at our dinner. I had to turn it into a hair ornament and purchase a small bouquet at another florist for our ceremony. I would certainly be more specific about my order next time but will likely not use King Florist again. Pros: Easily accessible location Cons: Picture examples not even close to final product more

Best bouquet design and friendlyest people - Will go the extra mile to make your occasion special 9/11/2007

I have been getting my flowers at King florist since I moved to Austin in 2004. I really like the friendly folks in the store and the fact that if you have the time, you can watch your bouquet being made. Mostly I used to call in most of my orders until I got on their website and now, I go online for my orders. My favorite is the "Moulin Rouge," and the "Rose Cube." It's as simple as look, add to cart and pay. The best part is that the bouquet looks just as good when it gets to my door as on the picture and my wife has not been disapointed so far. I would not dream of getting my flowers anywhere else. Pros: great attitude; parking; website; prices for any occasion; flowers last for days more

I ordered three simple bouquets, three boutonnieres, 2 corsages, one hairpiece, and 2 long stem roses for our wedding ceremony. All were simple, but elegant--exactly what I wanted--and the price/value was great. Excellent service too. Four days after the wedding, the two long stem roses used in the ceremony were still beautiful. I will use this florist again. Pros: excellent service, nice quality flowers more

Help when you're in the doghouse... 1/11/2006

I guess I had done the typical guy thing and put my foot in my mouth yet again. I knew that I needed to do more than just apologize to my fiance. I looked King up online and their website showed flowers that really stood out from the usual carnation stuff. Ordered an orchid vase with an "I'm sorry" message on the card and she was floored.
