Kindred Hospital-Town And Country

Out of the three hospitals that my mom there has been in , this one has been the best. The staff is thorough and check on my mom often. Our favorite aid is otilia. She is so sweet and gentle and always has a smile on her face. It is clear that the staff here have the heart to take care for their patients. You can see that they really care and aren't just working for a paycheck. Also, her room is very spacious and private. We really like the couch in their room that can be used as a guest bed. It is actually quite comfortable to sleep on. In my experience this has been the best hospital I have visited and we hope she can continue to stay and get better as long as possible. I've been impressed with several of the staff members here at kindred town and country. Aid Tony is quick to respond, great with helping me eat and has a good attitude. Also, aid Jim is spectacular in terms of his empathy and quickness to respond. Nurse Petra is so optimistic and is great at helping me. Ezra in physical therapy has a very optimistic attitude and I love that he pushes you to do more and gives motivation which is exactly what someone recieving physical therapy needs. I am really pleased with how quickly they answer the call bell and that the unit secretary always calls back to see if i have been helped. Their food is great. I've been very impressed in that aspect. The room is kept clean and tidy. Even the cleaning ladies and dietary aid staff are very friendly and and do their job quickly and efficiently . When I first came to this hospital, we started off to a rough start due to a conflict of my preferences verses what was protocol and medically needed, but we have been able to compromise and my wishes have been respected. All of the staff including the kitchen and cleaning people have been helpful and friendly. I especially like my nurses Blessing, Akash and Neha. They are very caring and are such wonderful people. I just love Dr.Siddiqi. He is so sweet and makes this happen. Dr. Mihu is also wonderful. I am so greatful to have them. As far as the facility itself, the rooms are spacious and private. The food is pretty good as hospital and institutions go. I am so impressed with the pet visitation program. It has made all the difference in the world to have my little dog Alyssa come visit me and has made staying in the hospital for a long period of time much more bearable. Another thing I like is that they provide patients with daily newspapers to keep up with current events. In all, I haven't been happy to be in the hospital this long but the staff has gone out of their way to make me comfortable and I am very grateful for that. J Milhoan more

Being in the hospital is never easy but the staff at Kindred Town and Country have tried hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Cathy in physical therapy has been very helpful and kind and the patient representative Rosina always brings us ice cream. Aid Lenny was very efficient and knowledgeable when we needed her. All of the staff is quick to get us whatever we need and is happy to do it. We appreciate that the facility is kept nice and clean. The cafe downstairs is very nice. The room is private and very spacious. Also, the couch in the room is comfortable for sleeping which helps when you are staying round the clock with your loved one. Our general hospital experience so far has been great. The staff has been wonderful. They are so friendly, patient and polite. The clinical staff are attentive to my mothers needs and make her feel comfortable. The therapy staff is very kind, understanding and patient as well. Her aid Jim is outstanding and Katie in dietary lifts my spirits. Blessing is a delightful nurse. She is so good with my mom. Allen and Linda have been wonderful in wound care. They took the time to show me all the steps I need to take to address my mothers wound when she goes home.The receptionist Mireya at the front desk is so sweet she always knows me by name when I come to visit. I have been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. Even the cleaning people are delightful and interact with my mother when they clean her room. My only problem has been in regards to communication with the doctors. I have already recommended this facility to friends and neighbors because I feel that they provide their patients with good care. Susan more

I was very happy to hear that my brother was being transferred to Kindred Hospital because from my experience with my family and friends, everyone who has been at a Kindred facility has been treated like a king or queen. They are very caring and spoil their patients. My brothers current hospital stay has been no exception. I never have to worry if he will be taken care of when there is no family here to keep him company.They treat you like family. I have overall had a good experience at this hospital so far. They have some really good people on their staff. I love my nurse Petra. She is amazing and works so hard. She makes me feel better. Blessing is good too.mshe always makes sure her patients are taken care of. Patrick in special procedures is really nice. He is really patient and has went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. My aid Lenny gave me the best sponge bath I have ever recieved. She is so caring and exceeded my expectations. more

I am an in home care provider rendering companion sitter services for a patient currently at this hospital. From what I have seen the nursing care has been very good. They are constantly coming to check on the patient and attend to his needs. They keep him very clean as he has a wound on his coccyx that must be kept dry. The doctors visit daily and communicate with me and the family. The paint is being kept comfortable with turning every 2 hours and his pain is kept under control. The wound care team has been very successful in assisting with the healing of the patients multiple wounds. The room is kept clean. I would definatly recommend this hospital. Marva more

I have really enjoyed staying here at Kindred Town and Country Hospital. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They doesn't hesitate to assist you with whatever you need, even if it isn't their job. I never had to wait long for someone to come help me. The room was always kept clean. Therapy has done a great job helping me make progress after back surgery. I liked my occupational therapist Erika. She has a great personality, was patient with me and considerate that i was in a lot of pain. The food is also very good. To be honest, when I first arrived at Kindred Hospital with my Mother, I was not so positive. We had never heard the name of this hospital before and did not know what to expect. But as time has went on the last three weeks, we have been very pleased. The attention and care that she has been recieving from the doctors nurses and the rest of the staff has been exceptional. Especially her nurse Blessing and aid Tony have surpassed my expectations. We would highly recommend this hospital and think that it should be more advertised so that people can become more familiar with the name. Faye more

The overall care my husband has received has been good. The staff has been knowledgeable, accommodating and hygienic. He has been at this hospital 26 days and has not developed any bed sores. I wish the cafeteria had longer hours. Our favorite nurse has been Dabrio. He was personable and went beyond what was expected of him in order to make my husband comfortable. We really like his aid Tony. He was very attentive and was there quickly to help me with anything that we needed assistance with. Speech therapist Camile has been so helpful. She explains everything so well so that I know what to expect with his recovery. Dr. Kuliev has been very informative with concerns and questions I have had. He takes the time to go into detail which I appreciate. Overall I would recommend Kindred for a long term hospital stay. Solberg more

We had to go to Memorial City emergency department due to my wife's symptoms of resperitory distress and extreme weakness. We ended up staying 5 days and had a good experience. We were then transferred to Kindred for the remainder of her recovery. We had never heard of Kindred before we were transferred but upon arrival, we were greeted with smiles and positivity. Since we have been at Kindred, the food has been great. Nurses and aids have been spectacular. They are kind, sweet and efficient. Dr. Hasnain was able to follow my wife from Memorial City which was great. The rehab technicians have been beyond wonderful. The kindness and patience that they have is amazing. They go out of their way to help my wife get stronger. Their encouragement motivates her to keep improving. She has continued to gain strength and the prognosis for recovery is very bright. Parking is a pleasure compared to other hospitals that he have been at It is free and more than adequate. If anyone asks us in the future about Kindred, we will certainly recommend it highly. I am currently a patient at Kindred. My daughter chose this facility for me because she had heard good things about it. I am here getting treatment before I have surgery. I have been pleased with the way the nurses and the aids treat me. I can see that they work very hard. The nurses have kept my pain under control. Also, they are really clean. My room is kept very tidy and clean. I'd recommend this place to people if they need to be in the hospital for awhile. They do a good job at keeping you clean and comfortable. Waldo more

I am currently a patient at Kindred hospital. I am here to get antibiotics for an infection. It's a nice hospital. The nurses, doctors and aids are really nice. I like the food. They serve it properly and on time. All of the staff I have come in contact with have given me proper service. My room is always kept clean and tidy. If I leave my room, when I come back the bed is clean and made. You can't beat it. I love this hospital. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. There is no where else I would go but Kindred hospital. Everything has been wonderful. The nurses are very caring. When I call for the nurse they always come and help me with whatever my needs are . The doctors have been great about keeping my pain under control . My aids have been very kind and helpful . I couldn't ask for better care than what I have received here at Kindred Town and Country. I have been very very happy with my two physical therapists. I let them know what time I would like them to come and they come to sit me up in the chair for 3 hours every day. I have been very pleased with the service I have recieved at this hospital and wouldn't mind coming back if I would have to have another extended stay in the future.- Ms. Gray more

This is my second stay at Kindred Town and Country Hospital. My wife and I chose to come back because we were very satisfied during our first visit with the service and care that was provided. When we arrived to the hospital this second time, we felt like there was a fan club waiting to greet us. The staff was excited to see us back. It was nice to have such a warm welcome back to the hospital. That is the general attitude of all the staff. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. We have been so pleased that in order to show our gratitude, my wife has been baking for the staff to give them a special treat. Everyone from the kitchen, doctors, nurses, special procedures and ancillary staff have very helpful and quick to respond whenever we need something or have questions. If either me or my wife should require another extended hospital stay, we would without a doubt return to Kindred Town and Country. Telles more

I came to Kindred because I had to have my leg amputated above the knee. Everyone has been so nice. They are very responsive to my needs when I call. My aid Lenny has been exceptional. She checks on me all the time and makes me laugh. Wound care has done a good job assisting with the healing of my amputation. My room has been kept clean and tidy and the food is good. The principle reason I came to Kindred is to rehabilitate my left knee and they are doing a great job of doing that. The nursing staff is responsive. The CNA's I have had have been especially good at tending to my needs and making me comfortable. My doctors have been pleasant and the food is good. I can't complain about the care I have received at kindred town and country. The staff comes quickly when I put on my light, they take care of my pain quickly and the food is okay. I haven't had any problem here. I have received good care for my recent toe amputation and treatment for the infection. The wond care team has been key to my recovery. They do a great job. They have taken very good care of me while I have been at Kindred Town and Country. Everyone was friendly and kind. They always answered my call light quickly and helped me with any questions I had. Speech therapy helped me so much to begin speaking more clearly after my stroke. The food is good as well. I would recommend this hospital, especially for someone that needs speech therapy and general nursing care. more
