A wonderful Center 1/15/2012

My daughter has been at Kiddie College for about 5 years. In our time with this center I have seen loving compassionate people taking care of my daughter. My daughter loves the teachers, and they helped alot as far as prepping her for kindergarten. We had used other daycares in the past and no one has compaired to the care and attentiveness that we have recieved at Kiddie College. I have full intentions of keeping my daughter there until age 12. Thank you Kiddie College staff for the great work they do. more

Wonderful place for childcare 5/19/2011

Kiddie College is a WONDERFUL place for childcare. I have 2 children in the center and couldn't be happier. I always feel comfortable when I drop both of them off because I know they are being well taken care of. As for the negative things listed from other people... well you can't please everyone and I'm sure your not perfect either. As for the teachers I cannot say enough good things about them. I only had teacher who I had a problem with Ms. Tee who was let go... she also commented below a bunch of bogus crap. No wonder she was let go. Thank You Kiddie College teachers and staff for taking care of the 2 most important things in my life! You are great! more

Truly Loved 12/3/2010

My hushand and I was in a bind so I had to go to work. I knew that I was going to have to put my children in childcare. I looked for months to find the right one. A friend recommended that I go visit Kiddie College on Fire Station Rd. When I walked in, the atmosphere was very warmy and inviting. Ms. Sarah & Ms. Judy met me at the door and showed me the center. The day I went off to work I cryed all the way there because this was the first time that I have been away from my children. The first day I know that I called at least five times to check on my children. They was very understanding and patience with me and also allowed me to come in as often as I wanted to and check on my children. Some of the other childcare centers I visit wanted me to call before I came, Not Kiddie College. They are like my family, this comes from my heart. I thank God above every day for them. So through all my years of experence with Kiddie College,I can truly say they are God sent, the employee more

Poor nutritional quality of food 9/20/2010

I am pretty satisfied about Kiddie College, except for the food. The food they give the children is unacceptable due to the fact that there is absolutely no nutritional value, except for milk, which is offered with the meals. However, that is the only part that is nutritious. For breakfast on Monday the children were given tater tots (fried & processed) with ketchup, which they consider to be the "vegetable" part of the breakfast. Tuesday my child was offered what they called a biscuit; it was nothing more than a heavily glazed sweet roll made from white flour. That's all he was offered besides milk. Another day they got generic brand fruit loops (again, processed sugary junk). Another day it was heavily sugared, processed muffins with fake blueberries. Another day it was white toast with grape jelly; I asked Judy at the front desk when the children were going to get the "fruit" or "vegetable" part of the meal that is mentioned in the paperwork. She said that the jelly was the fruit; u more

Children given junk food all day! 9/19/2010

I am pretty satisfied with Kiddie College, except for the food. The food they give the children is unacceptable due to the fact that there is absolutely no nutritional value besides milk, which is offered with all the meals. However, that is the only part that is nutritious. For breakfast on Monday the children were given tater tots (fried & processed) with ketchup, which they consider to be the ""vegetable"" part of the breakfast. Tuesday my child was offered what they called a biscuit; it was nothing more than a heavily glazed sweet roll made from white flour. That's all he was offered besides milk. Another day it was white toast with grape jelly; I asked Judy at the front desk when the children were going to get the ""fruit"" or ""vegetable"" part of the meal that is mentioned in the paperwork. She said that the jelly was the fruit; unbelievable. My child also receives 2 snacks a day, which always consist of cookies (sometimes they call these wafers) & cake. The lunch is somewhat adequate (altho I haven't actually seen the food) but it is not optimal, & usually consists of (for example) something like mac'n'cheese & ham & fried apples. For the price I pay I don't expect gourmet meals...however, I do think that this is the top area that should be improved on. I have no other complaints so far & from my experience, the staff seems otherwise attentive & caring. more

Wonderful Center !!!! 9/7/2010

My child started going to Kiddie College for a little four years and she loves it. I have no complaints about the center, But I also know that my child may fall down and scratch her knee or with 12 other children in a class that my child's diaper is not going to get changed every 5 minutes. I feel that the teachers and well as the office staff fill everyone of my childs needs. I like that the owner is upgradeing and changing things in the center, with the computer lab and the new splash pad they are building. I love the center and have no reason to pull my child any time soon. more

do not trust them they don't care about your kids 8/5/2010

I would not take my child to kiddie college because they do not care about your kids welfare or their needs. I am a former employee who was let go because I complained about the kid's diapers not being changed before I got to work. some of my kids came in as early as six am and was not being changed until I got to work at 830am. I would suggest to parents that you count your child's diapers when you drop them off daily and pay attention to the times marked on their daily sheets the infant room is ok but the one year old teacher lisa cares about no one but her son ty ty has bitten several children at the center and yet nothing has ever been done about that either if other kids are playing with a toy and ty wants it his mom LISA takes the toy from your child and gives it to him to mrs sarah for all the wrong you do you must pay for it before you leave this earth and pay you shall do. I have never worked for such an noneducated person in my life WHY HAS NOONE EVER CHECKED HER CREDENTIALS FOR THEY ARE ALL FAKE AND COPIES OFF OTHER PEOPLES DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES WHO ACTUALLY TOOK THESE COURSE then you decide if you should take your child to a place that would lie about their on education but claims to care about your child's education or well being. to each their own but i would think twice about putting my child in this facility more

Kiddie College Childcare Ctr is a wonderful place to care for children. 9/29/2009

As a picky mother, I feel that I have made a great choice in Kiddie College. I have read the other blogs on this page and am frankly very shocked. I have had my children at Kiddie College for almost seven years. Like any child care facility you attend, we have had our ups and downs but the director has ALWAYS sat down with me one on one and addressed the issues and we have worked through them. I will say this, if you want something addressed, you MUST go to the director, skipping the assistant director and some of the teachers. The issues the other parents listed have never happened to any of my children. I always get a call from the director when there has been an accident that may need my attention. I have also had to take my child to the doctor but have not had an issue with their return. Please keep in mind though, if you want to bring your child in late (for what ever reason) and it is nap time and they scream and cry after you, who do you think that is disturbing, my child is who more

Unpleasant experience. I would not recommend anyone going to this facility. 4/26/2009

My son had a horrible experience here. At the time he was attending the four year old class and the facility had a high turnover rate. That should have been my first clue to withdraw him from the facility. \r \r As it turned out my son had a terrible accident because of the negligence of a provider. On top of that the facility did not even bother to call my husband or I when the accident occurred because it was "too close to the time that the child would be picked up." \r \r My question is how could anyone decide that they shouldn't call a parent when the child was bleeding? This is not the policy of any childcare facility in TN. Needless to say my child did not go back to this facility after that day. I was then contacted and asked why my child did not attend. Can you believe that? \r \r I just feel sorry for the children who go here and have to be neglected. If I were a parent reading this, I would definitely seek other childcare options around that area. There are several other faciliti more

Stay away. It's a child care facility being operated like a boot camp. 4/15/2009

Against the advice of a friend, I enrolled my son in Kiddie College. Her daughter had a horrible experience with Ms. Kay. She gave several reasons why I should stay away. \r 1) Ms. Kay and her assistant do not give adequate attention to toileting needs. \r 2) Regardless of doctors appointments or work schedules, if the child is not there by 10 a.m. they will refuse to allow your child onto campus until after 1p.m.\r 3) The director is unwilling to work with parents to address critical issues.\r \r Silly me, I chalked it up to nothing more than personal opinion and personality differences. I ended up finding out that ALL THREE were totally true.\r \r My child had a horrible experience!\r \r He started coming home and complaining of his rear-end hurting. We had to take him to the doctor because the poop left on his behind that day had crusted over and caused sores. The next morning, I watched as a child sat on the toilet with the door open. The child was not helped in ANY way. They weren't even more

Excellent Childcare Facility 8/14/2008

The staff and director are genuinely concerned about the well being and educational development of your child. I would recommend Kiddie College in a heartbeat! more
