Holding your property for payment when they have no legal right to it, is theft by extortion. You need to document their predatory behavior and follow-up if you are right. They have been sued almost 100 times in Hamilton County in the last few years. They have lost their Bet Bus Bur rating with 39 complaints in the last 36 months and they have had at least 11 complaints with the Ohio Attorney General. I agree with everyone else that wrote a review this year. Perhaps the company had different employees when the lady had her good experience last year. I thought it my duty to also review this b/c I do not want anyone decieved by the average 3.5 stars. I have now been 'ripped off' THREE times in the DuBois parking lot trying to catch a quick burrito at Chipotle. It's pretty bad when they sit there like sharks SO often that the pan-handlers out front are ALSO using their conning as a profit. The beggars out front run into Chipotle with the color and the make of the car that is being hiked up onto the truck, then ask for money because they have done a good deed telling you. It is so incredibly obvious that the money they request to unload your car goes straight into their pockets, depending on the number of personal bills that driver has for the week. One time it was $50, ,the other time it was $60 and once, maybe on a good week, it was $45. Either way, I put enough in the meter like the other reviewers and that didn't seem to matter. So, in a nutshell... Of the fifty other towing companies listed here... go with one of them!! Cons: Bad Customer Service, Greedy, Dirty, Rude, Lazy way to make money, Bad Business Ethic more

These guys are a total ripoff group. I'm sure they are incahoots with the owners of lenharts, dubois, and Dave Frisch, the owner of the meters behind arby's. They don't even wait till the meter is out many times. They just wait till a couple of minutes are left and then boom, off you go. Of course they offer to take it down for $45 to $50 , bet that goes right in their pocket. The fat slob guy is the worst but the skinny pony tale guy isn't any better. Boycott DuBois, Lenharts, and Arby's until they stop these con artists. Cincy cops can't help because the lots are private. Tell the owners of the stores above that you aren't coming anymore as long as they support these crooks. more

nobody is safe in clifton with this tow company. It is a shame they will hunt and stalk you and watch where you park, it does'nt even matter if you pay a meter they will either hook onto you when you have 1 or two minutes left or watch you meter till it clicks out then bam hook you up scandelous. My friend called me frantic that her car has broken down, and would need a tow truck. She asked me to call some places, being she didnt have a lot of money on her. I called kenwood Tow becasue it was close to where she was stranded. The man who answered the phone never indentified himself or even kenwood towing he just said ""what"" I asked him what the rate to tow was. he asked me what kind of car, if it had front wheel or 4 wheel drive. it was like he was just making up prices. He told me it would be 50 bucks to hook it up then 3.25 for every mile. i asked him what if it was a four wheel drive car, and he said he would have a price upon pick...WHY WOULD YOU TRUST THAT???? I was coming home from visiting my goddaughter, who was in the hospital after having open heart surgery within a week of being born. Needless to say i was a little distressed. My fiancee and i went into chipotle to get a bite to eat. We parked pid the meter and ate. To my surprise when i came out to leave a tow truck was backing up to my car. I asked why and he said i didnt pay the meter. The fact was i accidentally paid the wrong one. I missed the sign that was 10 feet high that said pay the one to the left, maybe it was because it was raining. I talked to the driver (the most unpleasent man i ever met), and he said he didnt care about me or my situation, and it was not his problem that i didnt pay the right one because there is a sign. I had to run across the street to get 50 dollars in cash just to get him unhooked from the truck. I had never been more furious in my life. I will never use Kenwood towing, a company who obviously cares more about a few dollars than being good people. I will forever cringe at the sight of a tow teuck and remember the day i realized that people are not all inherently good, and that there are people who will do whatever it takes to make a buck. I just feel bad for the other people who will have to meet and or do business with this company who have obviously lost the basic moral code that a civilized society prides itself on. more
