Right on par with good American Thai food! Excellent portions for the price and excellent speed of service. (They did have trouble finding my house BUT they called promptly an...

Worst

The phad Thai was ok but the crab Rangoon were soggy and totally inedible, the fresh rolls weren't much better. Very disappointing.

Best delivery Thai around 10/3/2011

Kaosamai has a ton going for it. Expansive menu, reasonable prices, good food, and a pretty wide delivery range. Head and shoulders above any of the other Thai places in northwest Seattle, which all suffer from some mix of poor quality and high prices. Only downside of Kaosamai is that some of the food is a little bland; it'll always be as spicy as you specify, but some dishes don't have a lot of flavor beyond the heat. Overall a very solid choice for delivery/take-out, but there are better places for sit down Thai nearby. more

Ten Buck Thai - Tempting & Tasty 3/13/2006

Here ye, here ye: Kaosamai is probably #1 on my lunch circuit choices and I think it's possible that my preference for this restaurant far exceeds most people's. There are a few basic advantages that push this place in front of its competitors: 1) Options. Their lunch specials will fill pretty much any thai craving you're experiencing. With one order I can get phad thai, swimming rama, satay and soup. Not having to choose between one or the other is clutch. 2) Pleasant surroundings. The inside seating is light and affable. Even better is the large outdoor deck for nice weather. 3) Candy bowl. Filled to the brim. I haven't even gotten a dirty look yet for taking more than one butterscotch. In short, Seattle is in no short for Thai restaurants, but this one is a keeper. more

10 Buck Thai 3/7/2006

This is a regular spot in the lunch rotation for me. We probably go about once a week. I haven't been to all the Thai places in Fremont (how could I?), but the food here is very good! Kwanjai is a little bit cheaper, and the service a bit friendlier, but this place has some big advantages. 1. It has a parking lot, which cuts down on the "who's driving" arguments. 2. If everyone gets the lunch special and water, it works out to $10.00 each. 3. It has a huge deck for the summer months. 4. You're not compromising on the quality of food by going here. more

Not the best Thai in Fremont, but good enough 12/13/2005

This place has good Thai food that is reasonably priced AND they have FREE delivery - which many of the other Fremont Thai restaurants do not. That is probably the main reason I order from them. If I were to venture out in Fremont to dine in I would probably go to Jai Thai, because it has a fun atmosphere, or the place next door to Qazi's because I think it's better. more

BEST THAI EVER 8/4/2005

Kaosamai have the best Thia food I have ever tasted. I take all of my friends and family there when they visit, and no matter what they order they love it! We have never had a bad experience - the food is great, the staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Kaosamai is a must. more
