best lunch box special 5/7/2008

For $8.95 I ate a ""lunch box special"" which included miso soup, salad, chicken teryaki, vegetable tempura and 6 pieces of california roll. very good vegetable tempura, around enjoyed sipping the miso soup without a spoon. Recommend for lunch. Pros: lunch special, miso soup, parking more

great food, great service 12/11/2007

We really like this place. The sushi tastes great, they have a few signature rolls definitely worth trying (the Dynamite is awesome), they always have a nice variety of specials, and their service is good. My husband and I had two rolls, a couple of orders of nigiri, an appetizer and beer, and our bill was less than $40 - not bad at all. Plus it came with edamame and miso! Worth a visit for sure - and we will definitely be back! Pros: food, service, value Cons: ambiance in the dining room could be improved - sit at the bar more

Don't mean to be too negative about this place but I'm born and raised in Japan and know what sushi is suuposed to taste like. This place's sushi rice is not seasoned correctly and the fish is not sliced properly as they do in Japan. Not like other well trained and skilled sushi chefs you see at other restaurants, their sushi chefs are not even familiar with some of the traditional sushi (I had to tell them how to make it) It sure doesn't taste or look anything like the sushi you get in Japan. There are a lot better sushi places in Seattle than this place. Pros: Excellent Service more

This is a great little restaurant serving some of the freshest sushi in Seattle, prepared with flair by sushi master Chris. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is excellent. Cons: A bit pricey, Parking limited more
