Wonderful and unique place to eat 2/26/2011

This restaurant is really amazing! They bring navy beans, hushpuppies, and cole slaw before you even order. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The southern fried chicken and the catfish were both absolutely perfect! The atmosphere is lovely and it is smokefree! The menu even offers duck and quail for the adventurous diners. Wonderful service, atmosphere, food, cleanliness, and price is very reasonable as well. Anytime I visit the Kansas City area I will definitely eat here. more

Love it 4/3/2006

I love this restaurant and I don't even eat catfish! The fist time we ate here we went with a bunch of family members for their all you can eat crab legs. It was wonderful. The food is always good here and the prices are reasonable. The service is great. I can't say enough about this restaurant. It really is a fabulous place to eat and I would recommend that everyone give it a try at least once - even if you're like me and don't like catfish! more

Great catfish 3/29/2006

Jumpin Catfish in Lee's Summit, Missouri is an awesome restaurant. The food is served family style. I like to order the catfish. It comes with a bowl of navy beans, potato wedges, and hush puppies. They also have great fried mozzarella sticks. They have daily specials and I think you can find coupons in weekly mailings. They get real busy on Friday nights, so get there early to beat the rush. more

Jumpin Catfish 9/24/2005

Before you even get your all-you-can-eat catfish here they bring you a basket of hush puppies and bowls of cole slaw and navy beans. I try not to fill up too much on the sides because the catfish fillets are so good. They also have more exoctic offerings like duck nuggets and quail. Not to be missed-- a quite clever display of taxidermy--some in costume. more
