Once upon a time I lived within walking distance of Snappy Dragon. Oh, how I miss those days of homemade pan fried vegetaable dumplings! And when you eat there - you can see the dumplings and noodles being made. The food is wonderful - never too greasy or salty. more

Yes, it is! It's so healthy, not heavy or oily or deep fried, and delicious. My absolute favorite is the cranberry almond chicken. It comes with white meat chicken, cranberries, almonds, watercress, and white rice and all in this sweet and savory sauce. They have delivery to neighboring areas, which is a great option because parking is very limited as is their dining room. more

This is the best chinese I've had in Seattle. Okay maybe not the BEST, but definitely top 5. Their shrimp fried rice is to-die-for. Kind of greasy, but don't you expect that when eating Chinese? Now I just wish they'd deliver to Cap Hill. :( more

I finally found it! Great Chinese food! I order from Snappy Dragon at least once every two weeks to get my fix. My absolute favorite are the pot stickers. THEY are ENORMOUS!!! Every chicken dish you order is amazing. I wouldn't suggest eating at the restaurant because it gets extremely crowded. They deliver and that is all I have ever done. The hot and sour soup is perfection and not too spicy. I also love their spring roles. more

You know how you always have that super stuffed, greasy feeling after eating Chinese Food? Not at Judy Fu's. It's the most fresh, delicious Chinese I've eaten outside of China. All of their noodles are homemade, so you can imagine how good those taste in soup. I'd recommend the dumplings! Yeow! Also, the spicy beef. So full of flavor, you'd think Judy herself just made a small batch for you. This place sets a standard for what Chinese food should taste like. The only reason I give it three stars is that delivery takes a little long, though waiting for something this good is ok. And, there are always a lot of kids there when I've dined at the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate kids. I'm just 28, childless and if I wanted a dinner where kids were screaming and throwing food, I'd head to Red Robin for burgers. Know what I mean? more

Snappy Dragon was a recommendation from a friend - probably a place I wouldn't have visited on my own - the first time we ate their food, we called for delivery - we had no menu and no idea of what they had to offer - when we asked for suggestions, they were very friendly and thanked us for being first timers - their customer service is excellent They suggested we have the hand made chow mein and a dish called "Ants climbing a tree" - the food was incredible - all of us knew we should stop eating, but we couldn't - I think their food is actually addictive Anyway, I could go on and on about how wonderful their food is - bottom line? Highly recommended more

Wherever you live, go here. I'm so in love with the handmade chow mein noodles. And the portions are always huge - leftovers are a must! more

Snappy Dragon's food is good, but more importantly they deliver! So if you live in the wedgewood area and need delivery food that isn't pizza, call Snappy Dragon. more

If you like Chinese food then you should like to eat here. They are family oriented and have something for everyone. My favorites are the moo sho pork and the hot and sour soup. Both are excellent. If you dine here you can either eat family style or just chose your own entree. I enjoy family style because you get to try different entrees and everyone shares. more

Upon my return from China, where I had resided for years, I was directed to this establishment. I was told that they make great jiaozi (dumplings) and hand pulled noodles. I took a group of people with me so we could sample as many dishes as possible. Two people thought it was okay, nothing special and the other two thought the food was either under or over cooked and terrible. As for myself, the dumplings were decent but the hand pulled noodles were truly terrible. I am not sure why this place enjoys such a good reputation. Maybe it is because the food served is somewhat different from the usual cantonese fare. To sum up, there are better places for Chinese food in the area and I would rather spend my money at those establishments. more

Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon feels like a mix between your mom's house, a local home-cooking restaurant and a chinese joint! Try the Cashew Chicken (with a peanut sauce base). The homeade noodles are a hit as well. Great spot. A little popular though so expect a slight wait, even on a weekday. more

Snappy is a favorite restaurant of ours - we visit regularly. David, the manager, is always curteous and friendly and caring. The waitstaff - after they've been there a while - are excellent at keeping your drinks topped up and your rice bowl full and fulfilling all of our strange food requests. And they never ever get snobbish when one dines on appetizers only, month after month after month! Nor do they ever blink at requests for dietary needs. The food is always delicious ... and trustworthy! We know that the chicken meat will always be all-white, fresh, high quality, and cooked fully. The dishes will never contain "mystery" items, will never be coated in "gravies" or "sauces" like at strip-mall restaurants. They will never stoop to deep-frying something as a last resort ... the only things fried are a very few items that Americans have grown to love (general tso's, eggplant, fried wontons). The green onion pancake is perfection - light, crispy, flakey, many-layered, a bit greasy, and oh so delicately onioned. (In delivery/takeout, the pancake suffers from sweating in it's own box. Baking in the oven on foil seems to crisp it back up, but at the restaurant is best) The jao-zi are light and steamed for just the right amount of time, and have evolved over the years from a very highly spiced or sweet filling (with no warning as to which it would be) to a filling that is balanced, and allows the wonderful dipping sauces to complement it instead of being overwhelmed. The pot stickers have seemed too large lately, we've become fans of the smaller steamed dumplings, but once in a while it's nice to have them again. These two both travel well for takeout. The won ton soup is always delicious, sometimes we have seconds! The soup presents itself with a lovely chicken broth with a great taste - instead of relying on added salt or other "tricks" for taste. Take-out wonton soup is not as good - seems to get all the settled bits from the pot. Though one of our friends likes that even better! The barbecued pork suffers from overcooking sometimes, and they have taken to making it on fewer days of the week - so sometimes the meat is obviously "tired" already and should never have been served. The quality of the cut of pork seems to vary, also ... best results have been Wednesday early evenings. The vegetable and meat dishes travel well, always use fresh, clean, healthy ingredients (no bruised or damaged goods), and the portions are generous. Our favorites are the asparagus in black bean sauce, the dried sauteed string beans, the tofu dishes, the mongolian chicken, kungpao chicken, and on and on. more

Snappy Dragon can get very crowded, so we usually just get take-out. Our favorites are the Mongolian Beef, Chow Meins with homemade noodles and assorted seafood, and the Mushu’s with pressed tofu. The Hunan pork is very tasty. There’s a bunch of deep fried stuff that is soooo tasty but unfortunately a little heavy—General Tso’s Chicken and Spicy Eggplant (same sauce as General Tso’s), and Sesame chicken are among our faves. more

Thought I'd try this place and will never go again. While the wait staff couldn't have been nicer (or more all american), the food was not very good. Portions grossed our whole table out, sauces were heavy and sloppy and it just wasn't authentic. The only dish that got good reviews at our table was "ants on a stick" - a noodle dish. Head to the ID and get Chinese food in its proper environ. more
