Best

I've been going to Joe's for 8-10 years, and Joe and Aldo are great. The same cut every time.

Have a Man Cut Your Hair 1/11/2016

My husband goes here regularly. He once got a less than great haircut. When I asked who did it, he said it was a woman. I told him to NEVER let her cut his hair again. He has followed my suggestion, and has gotten great haircuts ever since. more

No Bragging Here 4/4/2011

My first haircut at Joseph's Barbershop the other day. They were not that busy which suprised me because the person who referred me said they were packed all the time, but that's besides the point. Anyways...the lady behind the wall cut my hair, I believe her name was Marie??...I guess her haircut was alright although my bangs came out pretty crooked but MY GOD I have NEVER heard a single person brag about their child so much. Everything she had to say was "my daughter this" & "my daughter that" about how she's "the best" basketball player on her team & she's still in 7th grade. Jesus, I know people love their children & just because she's an only child and she's a single mother doesn't mean her child or herself is any better than any other parent(s) or child. I'll probably go back but I'll be sure to wait for the other 3 and I'll be DAMN SURE they don't have any kids. more

Should be behind the wall 11/1/2010

i just returned from my haircut at Joseph's Barber Shop. 3 of the 4 barbers were working. I walked in and the lady asked me if I wanted my haircut. So she led me behind the wall (i should also mention that there were 4 other people in front of me when I walked in sitting & waiting but she had told me that they waited for the other barbers...and with GOOD reason they waited. Now I know why she was free & no-one was in her chair. SHE SUCKS!!! she's talks WAAAAAAY too much, I wouldn't mind that if she could actually cut hair. One sideburn was longer than the other & she cut them at an angle. She went way outside my hair/neckline when she made the line's. IF I go back I'll be going the people in front of the wall. Now I know why there's a wall; She doesn't want people to see how GOD AWFUL her haircut's are. She belongs at Supercuts. Advice of the day: DON'T GO BEHIND THE WALL! more

Great, But only 3 can cut hair 11/1/2010

i got my haircut there 4 times. i got to try out a different barber & each time when to a different barber(4 work there) when u walk in you'll notice 3 chairs in view and then someone working behind the wall. the 3 barbers in the front do a great job. the lady all the way in the back seemed to rush to get me out of the chair. she must work on commission because they were very busy the day i was next with her and i was out in 10 mins and my hair was very choppy, my neck was red from the clipper. all in all I will be going back but wont be going to the lady behind the wall. more

Absolute Best 3/2/2010

Only those who have not experienced the difference in going to a real barber would not appreciate a place like Joe's Barbershop. He truly represents the art form that is becoming lost, that of the BARBER. You can get a hair cut anywhere but go to a true BARBER and you will never go back. more

Joe's Barber Shop 8/23/2005

Been going here for a long time now and everyone who works there is really friendly. Mostly guys get their hair cut there but they do cut women's hair too. Prices are a little higher than you would find at a chain such as super cuts, but its well worth the few extra dollars for the personal service and atmosphere. more

Not So Great 8/18/2005

Many of my friends are loyal Joe's customers who will swear by their inexpensive haircuts - however I have never seemed to have such great experiences there. The one thing you will notice right away about Joe's is that although they claim to do all haircuts for all genders - you will never see a woman in there - and for good reason. Joe's simply does not know how to cut long hair. WHen I grew my hair out a few years ago - and went into Joe's for a trim - the barber there seemed utterly baffled about what to do - he ended up slicking my hair back, triming my sideburns, and calling it a day. I was dissapointed - thats when I started going elsewhere. Since then I have cut my hari short again - but still do not trust Joe's to touch my hair. more
