From the moment I walked in to Jonathan Douglas, my visit was almost perfect. I was there with a friend who had an appointment with Noelle for a "Hollywood" spray tan for her wedding. I was in need of a bikini wax and on my friends recommendation I booked an appointment with Noelle. From start to finish Noelle was so professional, confident and really knows how to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And she did an awesome wax. I highly recommend waxing with Noelle. And although I have never had the spray tan, based on the looks of my friend, I would recommend the customized spray tan as well.
In terms of my "almost perfect" comment (I feel badly saying this, but fair is far), the front desk receptionist did not smile or attend to me the whole time I was there. I was the only person in the waiting room. When we walked in, she was standing with Noelle - Noelle was very animated and smiley, the receptionist looked us up and down, turned and walked back to the desk. I have done her job, so I do have high expectations but she didn't even meet my low expectations. At the very least she could have smiled, perhaps offered me a glass of water, and if she really cared about the business she would have brought over a brochure of services and said something along the lines of "I know this is your first time here, here is a list of the services we offer in case you are intersted in the future".
Sorry! I hate being critical, but a lot of people don't realize how important front desk jobs are- first impressions are lasting impressions.
But in the end- would it stop me from going back to Noelle? Of course not!
Pros: Noelle's waxing and spray tans
Cons: frontdesk staff
