Best

Good food and drink, usually busy so service can be patchy, but definately better than frisch's. Pros: good original burgers Cons: loud if crowded

Worst

We have never had good service and the food is a little too retro for our tastes. It's too expensive for what you get. You pay for an atmosphere, but all of the times we have been...

WAY TOO OVER PRICED!!!!!!! 12/14/2010

We will NEVER go back!!! It is Christmas time and we went in there instead of somewhere we love like Red Lobster because we were trying to save money. Our bill was higher than eating at Red Lobster at DINNER TIME!!! All we got was two rocket burgers and one pop and it was 24 dollars!!!!! The pop alone was 2.70!!!! Three dollars for a pop!!! And the pop was out of one of those hose guns, so it tasted terrible. My water tasted terrible. Nothing special, nothing worth the price. I don't think it used to be so over priced and we will definately never even consider going here. The only nice thing I can say, the people that work there are super nice. My guess is because no one ever goes in there and they were sucking up to us hoping we come in again. Frisch's is so much better, I saw the other review that said they liked it, I beg to differ. I wish that when we saw it was twelve dollars for a hamburger, we would have left. But we didn't want to be rude. My boyfriend only got a pop cause he thought it came with his twelve dollar hamburger, oh no!!!! That will be another three dollars!!!! more

Just an over priced Steak and Shake 5/13/2007

$28 for a burger fries and a shake? I would say the quality is average but definately not worth what they are asking! This is basically and overpriced Steak and Shake. Heck, for $28.00 treat yourself to a really nice meal somewhere! You could eat at Bennihannas, J Alexanders, well, you get the idea. By the way.... It takes forever to get served! Even when the place is empty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (which is often at these prices and what you get in return) The lovely illegal alien staff is a definate negative too! Pros: 1950's Theme from the good old days Cons: Realizing only the theme is authentic and the food and service from that era are not! more

good big burgers 1/5/2003

Good food and drink, usually busy so service can be patchy, but definately better than frisch's. Pros: good original burgers Cons: loud if crowded more

10 times better than Frisches! 12/13/2002

Very good Hamburgers, shakes and French Fries. A little pricey, but not as high as Fudruckers. Servers seem overloaded. Pros: Hamburgers, Atmosphere Cons: price, service more

Never GO! 12/6/2002

This is the worst food ever! I do not think that I would ever step foot into this restaurant. If you look at the walls and floors. The restaurant is a complete dump. On some parts of the walls, I can see mold growing. I recommend not even spending your time because it will take you an hour just to get the right food you ordered. Go to Fudrucker's or Zip's, MUCH BETTER! Get what you want, not slow food that isn't even right. Cons: everything more

No Thank You! 10/16/2002

We have never had good service and the food is a little too retro for our tastes. It's too expensive for what you get. You pay for an atmosphere, but all of the times we have been there we have never seen the staff dance and sing as they are advertised to do. more

the worst 9/14/2002

the worst restaurant in cincinnati. It took 25 minutes to be served. The waitress was talking to two boys and totally ignored me. I left no tip. Pros: nothing Cons: the worst service, I waited 25 minutes more

Vintage Coca-Cola ads and posters of Life magazine covers succinctly summon up the 1950s, as do this diner's mini-jukeboxes, red vinyl counter stools and sock-hopping staff....
