Amazing. I can spend $20 here and get enough produce that would cost me $60 at Kroeger's or the like. Excellent selection, clean, friendly, BUSY. And I don't waste as much time l...

unfriendlely store 4/14/2008

Workers are over worked at 12 to 13 hour days and paid a very low wage. This makes the employees very tired and unfriendly to customers as well as each other. Worked here for several years and this is not a clean store that puts contaminated fruit on display for sale at a discount price instead of throwing the trash where it belongs in the trash. Michigan is #1 in unemployment and Randazoos contributes to this due to the illegal mexicans that are taking the american workers jobs away from them. There are plenty of NO GREEN CARDS here at Randazoos and family owners are aware and look the other way. AMERICANS want to work and have that right in there own country, Without the work going to illegal workers. This store is very dirty and gritty. Its old and needs updated. No good wages for employees, No health insurances provided to employees, But hey work them to those long hours and dont expect the to be sick or tired, COME ON mangement COME ON..Store is closed 1 day out ot the year. CHRITMAS day closed without pay to the employees, Randazoos is not good to the employees whom work hard and long hours and get nothing from there commitment to the Randazoos family. The stands are kept to a minium for the customers whom choose to shop later in the evening. The stock is not fresh and customers deserve the same treatment on fresh quality as the customer who walk through the door at 7:00 in the mornings. This is due to management not caring at all a few hours befor closing time. Back prep room is very unsanitary and unkept bathroom are a daily basic. Will shop at meijers for better produce and friendlier enviorment to shop in.. more

Randazzo's 6/5/2006

This is a huge produce store that has a pretty good selection and you can't beat the prices. I usually go there about once a month or so to stock up or if i have a party or something. Their prices can't be beat - just wish it was a little closer to my house. Easy parking too. more

This place should be everywhere 3/22/2006

They almost always have everything you ever need and more all year around. The prices are always great and everything is always fresh. This place is always less expensive than any of the other stores around. The place is always packed and my only complaint would be sometimes you have to wait forever in the checkout line. more

Great selection, but inexpensive! 10/6/2005

Best place for fruit and veggies in Detroit Metro. I love this place. You can buy a cart fully of food (including strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, when in season) and spend next to nothing. It costs about a third of what you would wind up paying at a regular grocery. To top it off, they generally have great prices on fresh cut flowers and carry landscaping plants during the warm months! more

No thanks 8/7/2005

I've driven by this store so many times and the parking lot is always packed. I thought it must be a great place, so I finally decided to stop in one day. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. On a positive note, there is a huge variety of fruits and vegetables here. However, many of the items were so picked over that it was difficult to even find a few ears of corn that hadn't been pulled apart or even a bunch of grapes left on the almost empty table. Their prices are a bit cheaper than elsewhere, but that was not enough to make me want to buy anything here. more

A Gritty Market 8/4/2005

This is your average fruit and veggie market except with a few things that are different. This location sells fruit, vegetables, and plants that are about average on taste (the edibles). The market seems to be very old and unclean on the inside and outside. The floors appear unclean as do the walls. The workers seem to be low wage foreigners that don't seem to friendly. I'd rather get my needs at the grocery store a block away. more
