best steak tips ever 10/9/2007

First time at Jimmy's was a 'charm"" for us. We were there on a Wednesday for lunch. The waitress was more than friendly and helped us make some good choices. The steak tips were the tastiest we've had ever ! We also enjoyed the veal parm...not quite as much as the tips though. The price was more than fair and the service was great. We will be back for dinner next time. Oh yeah...the strawberry shortcake had the REAL biscuits, which is always a plus in my book. Pros: best steak tips ever Cons: small parking lot more

Nice neighborhood spot 11/8/2005

Not a four-star by any stretch of the imagination, but the food is decent and the prices are fine. Service can be up or down depending on who you get, but overall I have no complaints. A good place to go if you live in the area and don't particularly feel like cooking on a given night. Pros: inexpensive, close to home more

The food is decent, but the service was horrible. The food came too fast and we felt like we were rushed out of the restaurant (it was not busy that night). We were only half way finished with our entree and the waitress already came over to try and doggie bag it. Throughout the meal, we had to flag the waitress down, but when it came time to pay, she monitored us like a hawk. Pros: food Cons: service, small parking lot more

Great place to eat. 8/12/2003

Great food for a great price. The service is very good too! You won't go wrong eating here. My wife and I had our first date here. We've been going back ever since. I can't say anything bad about Jimmy's based on the countless times I've gone to eat here. There is a Jimmy's in the Burlington Mall too. But while it's the same name, and same owners, the feel is different as it's not in a mall setting. You will have to wait on a busy night to get a seat. more

Best food north of Boston 8/8/2002

The most mouthwatering Terriayki steak I have ever had. They do chicken and seafood as well (both excellent). The key to the meal is the spinach rice pilaf. Pros: Inexpensive, family friendly, perfect date spot Cons: small parking lot more
