Great for the late night food shoppers 3/17/2006

Okay I love to go shopping for groceries but not with five million other people. That is why I love this jewel store. It’s open like 24 hours, plus they have self check out which is a huge plus. I can go at 2 am and check myself out and not have to have any contact with anyone cause I am shopping in my pj's. Great prices and i love there weekly discounts for members. more

Whoa... am I the only one who likes this place 3/13/2006

I personally love this Jewel store. I love the checkout lines, I love the people who work there (I live like a block away) and I love the fact it's open all the time. They've recently remodled and the store looks flipping fantastic. I perfer this over Dominicks (which in my mind is way too bright and shiney for my tastes). I go here often (and have for the past six years) and have never had a problem. more

worst excuse for a grocery store! 3/12/2006

This Jewel has the worst service that I have ever experienced at a grocery store. Several of their employees have outright refused to help me find particular items. I’ve also found the store to be pretty dirty on more than one occasion. They are open late and have a huge variety, just like all Jewel stores, so in a pinch it isn’t terrible. But I would suggest choosing another location to buy your weekly groceries. more

Unos Pizza! 3/12/2006

Another grocery store to hit up on Fridays for a pizza deal. They give you an Unos deep dish pizza and a bottle of coke for just five dollars! You can't beat that for such a great tasting pizza. Other than that deal, this place is really a place you want to avoid. It's too crowded and very disorganized because of the constant crowds. But, hey, I can deal with that for a yummy pizza that costs so much less than the one at the actual restaurant! more

You Can Do Better 3/9/2006

There are a lot of stores around this one that would be better options than this jewel. Though they recently went through a small rehab, they still could use some better maintenance. It is a little over priced due to the area, but it is very convenient with its parking lot and red line stop outside the door. They keep there produce pretty fresh, and their deli has a good selection. Not all, but most employees that I have encountered have been unhelpful. A good place to pick up a few things. more

If hell was a place on earth, this would be it 8/17/2005

Send sell-out Patricia Heaton to this Jewel for her next overly happy commercial. Just walking into this store made me want to shower with Clorox. The store seems to be constantly "under construction" which means complete aisles knocked over, floor missing, absolutely no organization, and rarely are items re-stocked. It's the closest thing to a war-zone grocery store. more
