I don't understand the hoopla over these ribs. The people who say they have eaten ribs all over the world and these are the best must be stopping at the wrong places. Don't get me wrong. These are good ribs, but I have had just as good or better at Silver Lake Inn and Tastings in West Bend, both less than 10 miles from Jerry's. The service is OK, but on the last visit we waited a long time between drinks and food order and had to ask the waiter for our bill after having been finished eating for over 20 minutes. The owner does not stand up for the food he serves even though it is made wrong when it is purchased..And he also tells you not to order from there anymore which is really nice to say to a customer that has a complaint..\r \r Hope noone goes here!!! Food and service are better than ever! I had a filet with ribs that was to die for. Not to mention the best french onion soup ever! We were glad that we made a reservation since they were packed. We ended our meal with a ""Pig Slop"" desert and the staff came out and sang Happy Birthday to my husband and topped him off with a pig hat that we were able to take home. After dinner we strolled next door to their adorable german beer house called"" Von Rothenburg beir Stube"". Great food and even better beer. Over 100 beers to choose from. Service is prompt but not rushed and the food is great - some of the best ribs I've had though the Pork Etoufee was also brilliant. I preferred the Von Rothenburg beer Stube next door (part of the same restaurant). I was so impressed that I ate here for 3 nights of the 5 I was in Milwaukee and will try to get a hotel nearby next time I'm in the area so I can sample a few more of the beers. Jerry's has the best ribs I have ever tasted! The service is phenomonal, the atmosphere is relaxed, casual and fun. Compared to downtown Milwaukee restaurants, Jerry's is a much better value on price, quality and quantity of food. I always recommend Jerry's because I know the quality is consistently exceptional. Excellent ribs. Best in town. Sauce is one of king, unlike Saz's tastes like it's out of the bottle. The French Onion soup is unbelievible. I normally go for the shredded onion rings, but Jerry's fat ones are great dunked in the sauce. Wait staff is on top of everything. I travel all over the country and have tried the ribs in many places. I can honestly say Jerry's Old Town wins HANDS DOWN!!! Combine the ribs with the rest of the wonderful menu..try the french onion soup.... and you will not be disapointed! Pros: Great food, Good value more

The service is wonderful!!!! In winter the fireplace is lit, creating nice ambiance. Definetly call ahead or you will have a pretty good wait for an open table. This is one of the few places my family will go to for excellent ribs. We have found very few places that even come close to Jerry's. My family recommends this as one of the best restaurants around.
