We stopped in for dinner last night. We'd seen a couple of good reviews. The restaurant was moderately busy for an early Wednesday evening. We were seated promptly at a table by the door. We had plenty of time to notice that some things were a little off. Even though the restaurant was well staffed and our waiter only had two tables, it took over 10 minutes for him to greet us. After another ten minutes we received our water and a soft drink. The soft drink was just seltzer and yes ... it took almost 15 minutes to remedy. The bread delivered to our table was warm and crusty and delicious. Unfortunately the theme of the evening was poor service. With an open kitchen concept it was easy to notice that the chefs were more interested in the Poker playoffs than the kitchen. It took over twenty minutes to receive the salads which were average and another thirty minutes for the entrees. I wish I could say that the Chicken Piccata and Spaghetti Bolognese were worth the wait. The chicken dish was served with a nice size chicken breast which was lightly sauteed and some toothsome liguini, but the dish was ruined by an incredible amount of capers that hadn't been drained. The entire dish tasted of caper brine. The bolognese sause also had an unusual vingegary tast to it. We're not sure if this was just an off night. We won't be back to check.
Pros: None to mention on our visit
Cons: Painfully slow service. Inappropriately seasoned food.
