See how the world famous jelly belly's are made! See a portrait of America's most famous jelly belly lover, Ronald Reagan, made entirely with jelly beans! They give Free 40 minute tours at the factory most weekdays (there is a video tour on the weekends) excluding some holidays. There can be a sizeable wait, but bring change, because you can entertain the kids by getting jelly beans from the vending machines that line the path to the tour desk. It's also a good idea to bring a snack, but they do have a cafe that serves lunch (pizza in the shape of a jelly bean, etc). It is interesting to see how a jelly bean is made, how many departments, how many ingredients, etc. It's mind boggling how many they make in an hour! You get a free jelly bean makers hat and at the end you get a sample of the jelly beans. There is also a gift shop where you can get jelly bean related souvenirs and where you can buy "belly flops", imperfect but still very yummy candies at a discount.
If you are in the area, it's not to be missed!
