I had a great time at "J Hall" as it is called by locals. In town for a meeting and trying to find the perfect mixture, Jefferson Hall was refreshing. Cool bartenders, great drink...

Low class staff and thug bouncers! 4/26/2010

Wasn't drinking at all and went there to celebrate 2 guys from gym who won a fight at Turfway park. yes we are an MMA gym, but I can assure you we don't cause trouble. We are all adults and very clean/nice guys. One of our fighters who won a hard fought fight came to Jefferson hall to celebrate. We came in and the bouncers asked where he got the medal her was wearing....he explained and they seemed ok with him wearing it. We alked straight to a table and didn't even get a drink when a very large bouncer (I guess to intimidate us)came over and grabbed Mike's arm and started saying "Come with me" and he started pulling him. Never said he was a bouncer and or even explained anything to us. He continued pulling Mike out as I followed asking who he was and what was going on. I thought he was taking outside to fight. When we reached outside he said leave, then we recognized he was a bouncer. I can put my life on the fact Mike did nothing wrong. Even being dragged by his arm and not told by who or why...he remained suprised and even tempered. I bounced for years and being 300lbs,fat,and having a badass temper doesn't qualify as a bouncer. The job is to not esculate a situation by explaining issues. If that doesn't work then by all means force may be taken. You need to at least say who you are and what happened. Especially to a bunch of sober adults who are asking awhy their friends is being manhandled out the door when he did nothing. They probably didn't want a guy to wear a medal in a drunk testosterone enviroment like that place gets. Maybe because it could cause trouble. I understand that and could handle that reason. Tell him to take it off or explain it, but they handled to very badly. Chubby bouncers with no social skills don't cut it in a bar district like this. Things can be handled maturely until force is needed. They will have some story i am sure saying I am wrong. I would put my and life on the fact we/he did nothing and my story is the truth. To hell with this place and the way they treated us. Adam Pros: New Port Cons: Thug bouncers more

Cool bartenders, great drinks, and the best women Cincinnati has to offer. Pretentious girl lovers need not apply, because this bar is comfortable from the start and guarantees a drunken finish. Pros: Fair Prices, Good Drinks, Great People more
