I don't normally write a review, but when you experience such great service you will do stranger things to help a local business out. I've have a 1999 Wrangler which is just now starting to need a few updates here and there. I would't let anyone else work on it besides the guys at Jeep Masters. They are truly experts when it comes to Jeeps (and I would assume other vehicles) and have taken extremely good care of me every time I have taken my truck there. You can't ask for much more than honest, hard working and fair and that's exactly what you'll get at Jeep Masters.\r more

They repaired my jeep's rear end for a fraction of the cost from other places that wanted to replace the entire rear end. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone who owns a jeep! I highly recommend Jeep Masters to everyone!! more

Thanks to Ray I was able to get tires and rims for our Jeep. My husband was very happy! It was hard to go to a shop when I have been burned so many times. But Ray made the difference with a great price. After I had saved for 6 months even with my Land Rover down we made the choice to get the tires. The next day after our son transmission went out. We have decided to make Ray our mechanic shop when it's a job I can not do on my own. \r Thank you Ray, and his great shop for getting us on the road the same day! \r \r more

I was able to get some help, and dropped the Jeep off around 10:00 AM. I called Jeep Masters at 2:00 PM, and they had already completed a very comprehensive diagnosis to determine the engine condition, specifically looking for a blown head gasket or cracked head. They described several tests I was aware of, and a couple I had not heard of before. Hearing the descriptions, I was convinced they had done what they were telling me. They did determine the overheating was caused by the radiator cap not holding pressure, as I had suspected. They found a bad throttle position sensor that was setting the check engine light; the hot coolant had gotten into the wiring and shorted out the sensor. They also found a couple of other, non-related items that I optioned to go ahead and take care of, since they had access at the time (bad ignition cables and rotor, and throttle body contamination buildup).\r more

I traveled to Austin recently to participate in a week-long technical conference. I drove in from Houston, about 200 miles or so, on Sunday afternoon to attend a meeting that evening. My Jeep was overheating for much of the way, boiling coolant out through the overflow tank, and spraying it all over the inside of the engine compartment. I made it into Austin OK, and called my brother in law in Round Rock, north of Austin about 30 miles, and asked if he could pick-up a thermostat, a thermostat housing gasket, and a radiator cap. I left the meeting about 10:30 PM, and went to get the Jeep and go to Round Rock. I didn't make it onto the freeway before something failed in the engine emissions control system, causing the engine check light to come on and remain illuminated. My Jeep was running, but was now missing and surging in an alarming manner. I drove about 4 miles north and gave it up as a bad choice. I manged to limp back to the downtown hotel I was staying at, and parked in the hotel garage. I searched the internet for Jeep repair shops in Austin, and Jeep Masters came up as the first hit. Several other shops were listed as well, but Jeep Masters had a couple of strong points in their favor for me. Of all the other shops listed, they had the highest number of positive customer reviews, and they were located only 2 1/2 miles south of the hotel location. I called them Monday AM and spoke to Cecil, who suggested they could tow my Jeep in if it wasn't operable, but in any event to bring it on and they would take a look at it that day.\r more

Great front office. Great mechanics. Honest, reliable and dependable service. We've been in Austin for a little over three years and Jeep Masters has consistently performed reliable and honest service on our almost-20-year-old Wrangler going beyond the call of duty to make sure everything goes smoothly. From transmission mounts to fuel pumps they've kept the old beast running even after I bollocksed it up in the Chihuahua desert. And they stand behind their work: a fuel line broke after a recent fuel pump replacement and Jeep Masters paid for the tow, replaced the fuel line and had it done in less than 2 hours. And they did it all with a smile. Just like every time. Trust Ray and Bo with your Jeep.\r more

I wanted new tires, rims and a lift, so I checked around and got quotes. Out of the five places to give me a quote, Jeep Masters was not only the best deal, but the most honest of the lot. Ray took the time to explain to me that if I got more than a 2 1/2 lift, I would have to have my jeep regeared; something that the others failed to mention. There were a few minor delays and changes to my order (none the fault of Ray or Jeep Masters) and even with those the end result was a very satisfied customer. Will I return to Jeep Masters for any further necessities or wants? Most definitely. Would I recommend them to others? In a heartbeat.\r more

Being a woman I was nervous about taking my Jeep to any one new but Jeep Masters was wonderful. I had been taken advantage of by mechanics and just didn't want the hassle again. I had been left with a huge problem by another shop and decided to take a chance on Jeep Masters. Beau and Ray went above and beyond earning my trust and treated me with respect. I still have a couple of more issues to clear up but everything they have done so far has been fabulous. I won't go anyplace else.\r more

The guys always do phenomenal work - and they know their stuff. If you have a jeep and are looking for an honest mechanic - you found em at jeep masters. Bo and Ray know Jeeps like the back of their hands. I would (and have many times) recommend these guys anytime you need quality work. I'd also recommend you get a jeep if you don’t have one - then go to jeep masters :)\r more

We took my wife's 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport to Jeep Masters for the first time a few months ago for an oil change and check up for recommendations to bring the Jeep up to good running condition. Bo outlined all of their recommendations and ordered them by most important priority. He took the time to give us rationale for all the repairs and this was very helpful. We found their estimates to be more than competitive after having some more emergent care done at a later time. Finally, we came back to have some of the work done on the list Jeep Masters gave us. Without unnecessary details, the process was a bit complicated but I just want to say that I found Bo and Ray to be two men of great integrity, and men of their word. I don't know how long we will keep our Jeep, or if we will get another one in the future, but either way, I strongly encourage anyone with need for Jeep repairs to take it to these guys first, and last!\r more

Absolutely Fabulous! I took my Toyota Rav-4 to Jeep Masters for body work; it came out looking like a new car! My idea of a car is put the key in it & drive. If it gets you where you are going then, by god, you are good to go. Manny was the coup de grâce when it came to working with the insurance company! Dropped the car off, was offered a rental car, got a call my car was ready; that was it. I mentioned a small problem & guess what, voila, it was fixed; it was like Christmas morning or a fantastic birthday present! Above & beyond! I went to Jeep masters for my body work because they have always treated my son (who owns a Jeep) with fairness & respect. This is such a talented group of people, accomplished professionals! Kudos & thanks! Mimi more

Jeep Masters - Never Again 12/13/2011

DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEEP HERE. How can you trust a shop that has to shamelessly fabricate it's own positive reviews to get business? Doesn't seem very honest to me. Bottom line- most, if not all of these positive reviews are FAKE, containing similar if not the same business reviews in random Texas towns all rated within a few days of each other... and all containing a 5 star review for Jeep Master. Check them out for yourself, you will save yourself a great deal of time, money, and aggravation? Jeep Masters is slow, more expensive than a dealership, and their service is dishonest. The negative reviews of this business are most likely the only legitimate ones. They marked up parts 90%, charged me a $50 diagnostic fee when the problem was obviously one of two things, of which they replaced both, selling me parts I didn't need and giving me a list of other overpriced repairs which they wanted me to sign off on. Should have fixed this myself in the driveway as I usually do, just never imagined a shop could be this dishonest and half assed. They say you can shear a sheep many times, but you can skin him only once? Maybe Jeep Masters should focus its energy on honest service instead of damage control? Honestly, I wish I knew what I know now before I entrusted my Jeep to them. Thank you for nothing. more

No customer service 11/4/2011

We dropped my daughters jeep off to have the signal lights checked, 8 am, we had called the previous night and explained the symptoms and was advised to drop it off first thing. We did and were told we would get a call around lunch for estimate, never got a call, 3:30 I call and I am told they have not looked at it and I'm next on the list but can't guarantee they will get to it. A CALL would have been nice! We picked up the car at 5 , and got a lame ""we were swamped"" excuse. It must be nice to have too much business where you can't even call a customer. more

Trusting 10/13/2011

A place you can trust. For major repairs I bring my car here. They solve the problems first time and do the job right. You can trust Beau. They don't try to fix things that don't need fixing like the dealers. They are great for auto body repair too. more

10 stars 10/13/2011

This place is AMAZING! Everything you could ask for in a car repair shop and more. Beau is phenomenal. These guys are honest and trustworthy, do a great job, and are very friendly. They won't fix your car unless it actually needs to be fixed, and they won't overcharge you. If I could give this place 10 starts I would. Absolutely the best car place around! more
